The artwork is beautiful, with lots of detail. The characters feel real, and the action scenes are exciting and easy to follow.Main character is finally, a someone who thinks things through instead of just using strength! Chihiro's smart approach to fights added a refreshing way to read manga and kept me interested.The story starts off strong, and by the end of this volume, I was completely hooked! It's clear that this series has a lot going for it. It has balance between intense scenes and lighter, amusing ones.

Honestly this manga continues to amaze me, the fights, the art, the uniqueness of all the characters are amazing. The panelling and the choreography of the fights are no doubt the highlight of the manga. Despite it using common themes for a shonen manga it is written incredibly well and id 100% recommend for anyone who's thinking of buying it.

This is an excellent story to begin with. I discovered it through recommendations while I was looking for something new to read, and it definitely does not disappoint. Volume 1 effectively establishes the premise and characters and executes it brilliantly. I eagerly await the release of more volumes.

I started reading this online a few months ago and loved it so much, if you liked jujutsu kaisen and are looking for something new to read that's similar then you'll like this too 100% recommend it. The mc, Chihiro is such a chill guy (if you get me 🐶). I just had to get myself a physical copy too, can't wait to buy other volumes

The writing is pretty good but the art is really where it shines with a masterful use of panelling and monotone print. It's seriously cinematic.

Kagurabachi's opening volume shows many of the strengths that have gone on to make it one of the best ongoing battle shonen of the mid-2020s; intriguing characterization, a stylish art style, and brutal, fast violence. Chihiro's quest for revenge may have started as a meme, but it's taken off to become a very well-made and consistent story that only gets better from here as more characters are introduced.

Amazing first volume. Looking forward to getting other books.
