Prince Lionheart Versa Formula Mixer with Bonus Espresso Wand

This is the second one I’ve purchased, not because it broke or needed to be replaced, but because it’s so amazing and as we are ALWAYS on the go I needed a second one to keep in the diaper bag. We do not use this for formula, but my son needs his breastmilk thickened sure to dysphagia so we use this to mix in his gel mix thickener. Before finding this I had tried EVERYTHING and this works sooo well, mixes it in perfectly with no clumps! It is very easy to put together and take apart.As for cleaning, I wipe it with a baby wipe after each use and then put the wand in the dishwasher before bed. I’ve had my first one for 6 months now and it seems to work great with this cleaning schedule.As for mixing power, if you notice that the power is going down change the batteries. I don’t care if “it’s still mixing just not as strong.” Change the batteries. Don’t get me wrong the batteries will last you a while but once it goes down I’m mixing quality it’s time for new batteries.As far as storing in the diaper bag, someone else said it was a fire hazard... they should organize their diaper bad better. Yes, it is easy to push the button so I store mine in a little reusable ziplock bag and then put it in its own pocket inside the diaper bag. First of all it’s more hygienic this way (so many things go in a diaper bag do you really want just anything touching the thing that is mixing your baby’s bottle?!?! I’ve personally never had it come on and heat up like the review that said it was a fire hazard. Common sense people use it!Overall I love this product! I recommend it to anyone using formula, thickener, or anything that needs to be mixed into a bottle.

Order this. Period! Do it. Don’t hesitate. I’m a first time mom with a baby who liked room temperature formula so I did what the back of the can said & shook the bottle that was TERRIBLE. The formula was still floating on the bottom & there would be a ton of bubbles, plus having a screaming baby waiting for a bottle meant I didn’t have time to wait for the bubbles to disappear & I had to grab a fork to crush whatever formula was left it was BAD. THEN I searched for help & found this MAGICAL WAND!!! My goodness, this is the BEST THING EVER. I will say that bubbles will happen depending on the formula you are using. The speed is pretty high so it makes some formula foamy or bubbly, but when this happened I pre-made the bottles & put them in the fridge so by the time my baby was about to eat I’d take it out about an hour before to let it get to room temperature. I used this mixer with Similac Pro-Advance, Similac Total Comfort, & Nutramigen! If you’re using Nutramigen like I am (my baby has Acid reflux, this is a miracle formula for us FYI to anyone with a baby with GERD). There are NO BUBBLES when using this mixer with Nutramigen. Make the bottle mix & feed. I am purchasing more just in case one breaks or they stop selling it. It’s the absolute best thing ever!!!

The media could not be loaded. Update: after a week of use, the motor calmed down slightly. Now I just hold it still near the bottom (without touching) and let the vortex mix everything. Even holding the vortex open the whole time, there’s only a few surface bubbles on the very top at the end and a quick swipe of the wand pops them. This is an actual godsend! My husband who grumbled at another frivolous expense when I ordered it now can’t mix bottles without it! Baby just switched to Alimentum which is difficult to mix and this handles it effortlessly! No bubbles and no chunks! Worth every penny! Worth a second set for the diaper bag too!This works great for me! It spins very fast and can make a vortex that bubbles your formula if you’re not careful. However, even if I’m not careful and I get the vortex, it’s still way less bubbles than shaking the bottle so no big deal. But if you want totally bubble free bottles, here are some tips: don’t turn it on till it’s touching the bottom of your bottle and don’t lift it till it’s off. Press it against the bottom of your bottle to slow it if needed. Move it around to keep the vortex from forming. Don’t take it out till it’s stopped.I also use the milk frother in my thick soy milk and it does the job. Love this thing!
