It can’t be. These are unbelievably good.
These are another item made overseas that are completely impressing me. For a good while, if you bought cheap pickups made in China, you sort of knew you were probably going to get a mediocre at best product. I didn’t have huge expectations for a set of pickups that costs less than $30.I hooked these up to my Donner thinline tele copy. The pickups that came it were nice but more designed for Heavy Rock. I wanted this to sound more like a traditional thinline. These pickups did not disappoint. I didn’t bother changing the volume or tone or the three-way switch to something better yet they still sounds very good with those stock parts. Without going into a lot of detail, they’re just very well balanced between the neck and bridge and the overall sound of each pick up is very well balanced. Just what I was looking for. I’m not sure how there’s enough meat on the bone for everybody to take a cut and make these worthwhile financially yet here they are.If you’re remotely interested, $26 is an incredible deal for these. Mine were very well wax potted. I can’t really find any negatives yet.

Very high value pickups
Purchased these to replace some stock ceramic pickups in an inexpensive guitar. You can’t have high expectations when the price is so low but these have exceeded so far.Pros: Have met all advertised criteria, good 4 conductor leads, wax potted, resistance rating. Initial play tests are positive, they sound like a good set of humbuckers. Fit and finish are no different than other premium brands I’ve used.Cons: none so far.I have included several pictures to give you an idea of what you’re getting.

Sound good
Good for the money. They do sound good in a semi hollow. Been playing them a few months, well worth the money, sound amazing

A NICE SURPRISE
Nice set of full bodied humbuckers. Not too shrill. They take high gain well. Nice mids and not muddy. The leads are very thin. Not too sure how brittle they will become in the future. The adjusting screw for the pickup height are really small but adjust fine. For the price easily replaced.

Absolute garbage!
I bought these pickups to replace some cheap unwaxed ceramics in an import 335 style guitar. These are worse than what was in the guitar. They're not wax potted and definitely not triple wax potted like in the description. They are the most microphonic pickups I've ever heard; and I've heard some pretty bad pups over the years. Intensely more microphonic than the pups I just took out. Since I have already installed these, they are not returnable. I don't know what I was sent, but these do not match the description given. They are definitely not Alnico II. They're unpotted ceramic junk that are worse than what they replaced. Now I'm back at square one. I thought these were going to be such a killer deal, but the description was too good to be true. I can't understand how anyone is giving these a 5 star review, unless they were sent something completely different from what I received. All I know is that these pickups are absolute trash. They sound sort of okay on the clean channel but even on clean, they're way too bright to be A2 mags. Add gain and the feedback is intolerable. From now on, I'll stick with GFS pups. They have never let me down.
