Impressed, very well made and quiet, the down side is you have to purchase an adopter for the plug, the chair lift is made in the U.S.A. The seller was very good to offer a £15 refund to purchase the correctconverter from U.S.A. to U.K.

First some background information:I an 78 years old and have Peripheral Neuropathy and because of hardly any feeling in my feet, am prone to falling. Being seriously overweight and unable to exercise, my leg muscles are weak, consequently once prone on the floor I am unable to rise without assistance and even then, painfully, as my knees are shot.I live in a bungalow with my wife, who is also elderly.For some years we have that because emergency assistance is practically non existent where we live, there could come a time when falling may result in the prospect of me laying on a cold floor for hours, which of course is bad.Therefore, we decided to try and sort this problem out ourselves and after purchasing plastic knee pads, to stop the pain when trying to rise, which helped enormously for a year or so, our attention was directed at buying an apparatus such as the ELK pneumatic inflatable cushion, which is used by ambulances and UK care homes, that costs over £2,000 to purchase.Then I saw this product for sale on Amazon and watched the YouTube videos of its use in the USA and was amazed and decided to purchase one.
