Mid year last year I bought a pencil sharpener through Amazon and it was heavy in feel but lightweight in action. After about four months it quit working. I know as I am old that products we used to use in office work lasted for many many years and products now do not but....I found this one and noted that it was reasonable in price. It works like a charm and it really sharpens the pencils beautifully.. I highly recommend this product. Also it takes up very little room on my desk.

A great product for a household with kids or crafters. Does a great job with colored pencils.

It feels like cheap plastic and has very little weight. This one is replacing an electric sharpener I had for years that finally died. It sharpens fast and well. I like that it stops when the pencil is sharp. No need to remove pencil periodically to see progress. Takes up little desk space. Very unobtrusive. Plug transformer sticks out to one side of prongs so it only fits at the end of a power strip.

I love it! Round pencils can be tight, but that's OK. Sits on my desk, plugged in, ready to give ma a sharp point whenever I need it. Quiet and easy to use.

Love the vertical entrance that lets you push down with one hand to sharpen w/o having to hold with other hand. Makes a great, sharp point very fast. Great buy at price.

Good sharpener. Produces nice sharp points However, very disappointed it does not self sharpen as stated in description . I have to hold the pencil down to sharpen . It does not sharpen on its own. I could have bought a less expensive sharpener but spent more for a feature that doesn't work.

This pencil sharpener works well. It has a plug in cord which is fine for my needs.
