It works
I bought it thinking I could punch holes into the center of bottle caps. It's just a little too small to hit the center of the caps.

Nifty little hole punch for thin sheet metal
This item is for some jewelry making that I’m doing. The 2 mm hole punch works well on thin metal and the holes look clean. Would probably struggle trying to get holes on bottle tops (like on beer bottles) but those thin tops like on champagne bottles are fair game. For the price this is a worthwhile purchase. Photos of some earrings I made for testing.
