This is nice soap, and every bar comes with a mesh bag that lets you lather up without direct soap-to-skin contact. The smell is pleasant, not perfumed, and my skin feels clean but not dried out after a shower. I bought it to combat odor and it seems to do the trick. Very happy with my purchase.

This soap lathers well, smells amazing and fresh without being perfumey, and it really cleanses well. It is the only soap I've found that fully removes the film left from deodorant on the underarm area. My skin just feels clean when I use it. The first time I used it, when my mom hugged me, she commented I smelled good. This is the only soap I had used that day. I am sold on it. Side note, I am not old enough to have old-person smell, but I do enjoy walking during my work lunch breaks and this helps to keep that doggy smell away that one tends to get after outdoor adventures.

Love these bars. You feel clean and they smell great. I just leave the bar in the small bag that each one comes and use it like a mesh scrubby. I gave one to my daughter and she loves it.

I wanted to try persimmon soap and this was the best deal. (3 bars for 9.99, I think.) I love the soap. It smells amazing and lathers decently. I love that each bar comes with a soap saver bag, too! My only concern is that the bars do not last long at all compared to a typical bar soap. Even making sure they are stored out of water, they just get used up very quickly. Using once daily in the shower I think one lasted just a little over two weeks before disintegrating into nothing. My typical name brand bar soaps last for closer to a month in the same conditions. (Used only for showering, not handwashing, so they can fully dry between uses and stored not setting in water,) I’ll probably repeat the order, but may move the bars to my tub instead, which I use less often. That way they’ll last longer. Can’t attest to how well they fix “old people smell,” as I bought them out of curiosity, but I love the scent!

I bought this after reading it could help prevent the dreaded old person smell. I haven’t had any comments that I had it and haven’t noticed it myself,but I am retirement age and you can’t be too careful. This soap is small but if you don’t let it sit in water it lasts very well. It has a big scent when you open it but it does fade,and the smell doesn’t linger on your body. You just smell clean. During the winter my skin is dry and,I normally shower and wash my hair every other day if I don’t exercise or something where I get dirty or sweaty. I feel and smell clean on an every other day shower schedule and my husband told me my assessment is correct. He uses dial body wash but it dried my skin out. Theirs,persimmon soap doesn’t really moisturize,it cleans but doesn’t strip your oil and dry it our real bad. I do use some body lotion on my arms and legs but had to do that even using a moisturizing soap. I have purchased this twice and shared a bar with a friend for them to try. I recommend it.

I love this soap.we have scent sensitivities in our houshold and have to get fragrance free whenever we can.However, I orderd this because I was having some medical issues that I felt were contributing to not feeling as "clean" as I would likeThis soap does not smell perfumey at all!. It smells floral but not overwhelmingly so. It is pleasant. I am hoping that due to this more natural fragrance it won't trigger my partners issues... (fingers crossed)I miss fragrance but I Hate fake smells and perfumes so this seems to be a great buy so far!

This soap does wash away that 'old people', nonenal smell well enough but it doesn't compare to my favorite persimmon soap. This soap is somewhat drying to my skin, face and hands. I have sensitive skin so I have to be careful with the products I use and sometimes when I use this soap it makes the palms of my hands irritated and red. My favorite soap is creamy feeling, it makes a luxurious lather and moisturizes my 'mature woman', old lady skin. It also lasts longer and although you get 3 bars of this soap as compared to two of my favorite, I still wont' be purchasing this again. So if you don't have sensitive or dry skin this soap might be great for you. If you do then I've been ordering my favorite soap from Amazon for years and it has Japanese writing on the packaging.

This soap lasts a long time and leaves a very clean feeling after using. I love it as a follow up for my face after cleansing off makeup. I also have one in the shower that I use last, especially if I don't feel my other soap has removed deodorant residue completely. There is no fragrance masking the clean feeling and smell, either. The fact that you start with three bars also allows it to be where you can use it when you need it.
