TapoTP-Link Smart Video Doorbell Camera Wired, 2K 5MP, Color Night Vision, 180° Ultra-Wide FOV, 2-Way Audio, Free AI Detection, Cloud and SD Card Storage, Works w/Alexa and Google Home, D130

Wired this to a UK socket using a separately purchased transformer (just search doorbell adapter) in place of an existing similar device. Really easy to install, both physically and digitally and works seamlessly with the Tapo app and Alexa. Some really nice features are included without subscribing to Tapo care. Used the SD card from my original device and synced with my existing hub to act as a second chime so I could have a chime upstairs and one downstairs (just note, the one I bought came fitted with prongs for an overseas outlet so I needed a travel plug for it). Really like the colour night vision and the fact that you can manually trigger it too. The angle of the lens took some getting used to as it looks almost portrait to give the head to toe view from even 2 or 3 feet from the unit. Loved the addition of the line crossing feature and have already set an automation to turn the hall light on for a minute if a line crossing is triggered across either of the 2 lines I chose to set up. Also (it is a camera after all) the live view and playback quality are both excellent, crisp and clear whether in night vision, colour night vision or daytime mode.I paid a little over £70 for the device and a further £10 for the transformer to wire it to a standard UK outlet and at the price point I’d say it offers exceptional value for money. I have a multitude of other Tapo devices (hence the switch over) and I’m delighted with this device.

Worth every penny. Had google door bell.which was excellent but this has more features which are free. Main thing is save footage on local sd card.

I love this camera overall it's fantastic for the price:* Performance is excellent with Amazing detection capabilities and superb video coverage.* Easy recording and downloading capability.* Aesthetic, slim and the white colour looks good especially on a pvc frame.* Integrates well with phone and AlexaIssues I've had however:* I can't seem buy an extra door chime to hear the bell in other places further back in my house liek the conservatory* There's a bug in the software. If I share the camera with other family members they are not able to change the notification from "Ring Call" to "Push Notifications" and they often get disturbed as the phone rings when they're away from home forcing them to attend to it.* When the bell is pressed on "Ring Call" my phone screen locks on the call and it's hard to switch to the video preview to see who is standing at the door.Hey TP Link Software Team please change these two bugs reported.Overall the camera is great though and the cloud subscription price is more than reasonable so I'm happy with this product. Best feature is the AI detection capability. Good job!

I’m very unhappy with this purchase. It keeps Keeps going offline so it’s no use whatsoever to me. I bought a new wireless extender and put it near the front door, in case that was the problem, but even with that next to it it keeps going offline. I must have reconnected it at least 10 times and it works fine for a day or so, but then goes offline again.

Purchased this wired doorbell to replace a now defunct Ring wired version. I had been waiting for the wired version to release, as battery doesn't suit where we live at all. Having waited 2 weeks for delivery, i've opened it to find that the chime plug it comes with has US plug fitting (plug type A - USA, Canada, Mexico & Japan) which are incompatible for UK or indeed Ireland. Nowhere in the features does it specify this. In the product spec details it specifies its 220 volts (Europe). So correct voltage and incorrect plug pins! Now I have to pay return postage of €20. not good enough

This camera is not cheap so i was disappointed to say the least like other customers found a 2 pin usa bell included and not a uk one so having to buy an adapter to get it to work, very dishonest of Tapo so wont ever buy any of their products again.

Just "BEWARE" that this WIRED TP-LINK D130 COMES ONLY WITH A USA 2 PIN "CHIME"So, you would need an adapter that would accept it, otherwise it's basically useless.The listing doesn't state / point that out.
