It's beautiful.
I've always wanted a very sharp knife. This was just a treat I bought for me. I haven't really put it through its paces yet, because I haven't been cooking a lot lately. But what I've used it for so far has made me happy with it. It is true that it's a really good idea to clean it as soon as you're done with it, though. I left it for about 30 minutes and it started to get water spots on it. It was still cleanable, but since then I would wash it and dry it before I put it away.

beautiful and SHARP
I am so glad I got this knife. It is way sharper than any of my older knives, which is somewhat to be expected because they are older but also this one is just really well made. The handle is gorgeous - it really sticks out when I put it in the holder with my other knives! This would make a great gift, even to yourself (like I did)
