We host a lock-in every year. Between 3:30-5 am we have a glow stick dance party. The kids love it! In the past I have bought 500+/- glow sticks from Dollar Tree. With the exception of maybe 3-6 sticks, they have always worked great and lasted for hours. This year I ran across these while Amazon Christmas shopping. They were such different, vibrant colors than regular sticks so I purchased them. MISTAKE! They started to fade within 10 minutes of being cracked. NONE of the red color ever glowed. The orange barely had any glow and then it was sporadic, not the whole stick that glowed. I learned a valuable lesson (stick to Dollar Tree) but unfortunately, it came at the kids expense.

My daughters loved having this as an added activity during a dance party. This was easy to use and had options of necklace or bracelet!!!

Loved the color options, but the skimpy packaging meant that the glow sticks arrived with some not working at all and some glowing as I opened the package. About 20% were unusable from the start. Wanted them for Halloween and waited to long to order so I don't have the option of a return, but definitely will not get these again. This is why glow sticks are usually shipped in thick cardboard tubes instead of flimsy plastic trays inside a skimpy box.
