This was a gift for my husband. He is making turkey strikers and he said it works great. He loves it!

This unit is good for small small projects, I found that it will do most jobs on small wood projects. It is limited in the time of use as they highly recommend that you only use it 30 minutes max at a time and let it cool down after use, this limits that amount of time you can work on a project.

Not one who is a speed demon. Just want it done and done right. This Littel lathe does just that! When a product gives you stability right out of the box you have my attention. I’m a hobbies now. Have a great fill size lathe for work but sometimes you need something small for your hobby “retirement train work” 😉. This is my go to!

This little lathe is pretty cool. It definitely needs to be secured or it will dance around the bench. It is a cheap lathe so it can't get a 5 star. It is made out of light stamped metal and has vibration. This results in a slower cut to be accurate.

It has several different speeds and a good chuck and tail system, but will not cut hardwood.Works best with rough sandpaper.

This delivered well above what it cost! I was actually really surprised it's as good as it is. Have used many types of wood & some solid plastics as well. I helps speed things up if you remove the small silver feet and bolt it straight down to your work surface/bench. Tempted to try some acrylics or resins but just haven't had the time. Highly doubt it would have much issue if any at all. Again totally blown away by this little lathe. For just having some fun or working on smaller items it awesome.
