Thin consistency, not tacky, easy to visualize your solder points through the flux
I tested the ALLECIN 559 No Clean Soldering Flux on a soldering practice board that included 0805, 0603, 0402. 0606 and QFN44 SMD parts. The product was thin and mostly clear with a slight yellow/brown tint and very little tackiness. Since it is rosin based, when it was heated it browned a bit on the board. The product is no clean which essentially means it will not corrode anything if left on the board; however, most people will clean it off after use with Isopropyl Alcohol. The main plunger for the 30cc syringe does not have a rubber head so it does not maintain a tight connection in the syringe. A smaller 5cc syringe is included if you prefer a smaller dispenser. The product performed well in my testing and I liked the clear transparency which made it easy to see my soldering points. I am used to working with tacky flux so I had to adjust to this product not being tacky. I also found the product tended to leak out the syringe tip when not in active use because the product is so thin. Regardless, the product worked well and was a worthwhile purchase.

Good flux and is actually residue free.
ALLECIN No Clean Soldering Flux 559 is a good flux to use and is actually residue free. The dispenser is easy to use and the volume is good. The seller included two dispensing tips and a smaller syringe which makes using the flux on small jobs easier. This is a quality product that makes solder repairs or new PCB assembly work easier as you really need a quality flux to produce good results..

Pretty good flux
I'm getting more into SMD work and found that this works pretty well.I have other brands that I am trying to get a feel for on how they flow and this seems to be not bad. I still like lead based as I think it's easier to work with and has a lower melting point but this isn't hard to apply.I also always clean up afterwards. Some out there state no clean but nothing isopropyl alcohol won't clean up and make for a clean look.
