An Easy Fix To A Common Jeep Problem
Thought I was going to have to buy a new sunshade after my OEM unit cracked, but these replacement tubes saved the day and about $30. All of the videos showing how to install show them pulling the U-shaped trim piece apart while still in the visor, but the one on my 2012 JKR wasn't having it. I found it easier to pop the trim piece out with a panel tool and THEN pull it apart to access the metal rod and R&R the plastic tube.

Good Product, Bad Time Installing
While the product itself is great and a definite improvement over the OEM, they were NOT the easiest to install. Save yourself the headache of trying to install on the sun visor while still attached to the vehicle, and remove the visor to install then replace. The extra leverage to push and pull to get the retaining pin out is worth the removal and replace!
