decent tallow and useful for higher temps but the flavor is a little off-putting, I probably won't be ordering again

Clean.A5 smell is very present!The fatty parts of the meat will pick up the tallow taste. The rest I guess barely cares.Also using the au jus for aioli/sauce definitely makes for a very rich A5'ish tasting detail.

I've been waiting for Kai Wagyu to sell their tallow for quite some time now and it did not disappoint! It arrived in very secure packaging and was delivered promptly, ensuring it arrived fresh and intact. The packaging was so secure that it was actually a little difficult to open, but I prefer this when it's precious and perishable cargo. The taste is truly phenomenal—it’s exactly like what you’d get if you rendered the fat straight from a wagyu steak, something you can't say for a lot of other "Wagyu" tallows out there. Not this one, this is legit. Just a small amount goes a long way, transforming any dish into something rich and full of flavor. Whether you’re searing meats or adding it to vegetables, this tallow adds that unmistakable depth. I'd 1000% recommend making fried rice with this first so you can taste how delicious this stuff can be. Highly recommend!

It’s very good. I was gonna complain about the packaging - which could be sealed better - but I’ve almost used the entire tub quicker than my other beef tallow.

As the head home cook, I've always wondered how I can elevate my simple everyday dishes. From stir-frying meals, garlic confit, and making sauce, this A-5 Tallow really takes the flavor profile up a notch.This is definitely worth the purchase for the amount and quality you get. Plus, it's a nice substitute from the cost of a full A-5 Wagyu Steak (still worth it, just on occasions) and you won't even have to use too much from the cost.Only note, once it's delivered, be sure to pick up the package asap since this is fat/beef tallow and is perishable.It'll be in my everyday cooking oil rotation for the rest of the year. Love this product! Have tried many of the tallow out there and this one is the best one I’ve had by a long shot. Highly recommend. Use it every day - multiple times a day! 5/5!
