Wash and moisturize the shoes first. Then apply the paint with the brush in bottle. Let them dry! Done!

Q: Can I use a sponge to apply this to my sofa?

I would use a brush the sponge would absorb to much of the finisher

Q: What's the difference between finishers and coats?

The 4 coats are the newer stronger version of the finishers. They are scratch and UV resistant. They are both still finishers. Hope that helps. I believe Angelus tells you right on their website

Q: Can you use with leather dye?

I tried it with angelous leather dye Alcohol based. Product looked good till I tried to clean it. With alchole, completely failed. Ruined hours worth of work.
