Very good. One issue that I solved.
The media could not be loaded. This was one of the easiest pieces of hifi equipment I have used from new so far. I popped the wires from the speakers into the terminals, plugged it in and connected it to my phone via Bluetooth and I was listening to music in less than 5 minutes from unboxing. If I had banana plugs on my speaker leads it would have taken less time. It is surprisingly loud for such a small amp but don't go thinking you can sell your big AV hifi amp as it won't get loud enough to fill a big space with a full sound. You're at the mercy of your speakers' frequency responses and biases unless you can EQ the output on your music playing device. There is also a 3.5mm jack input on the front for an mp3 player or other devices (get out your old Walkman). You will need a 3.5mm jack to jack cable as one isn't included. I tried this on a pair of Warfedale Diamond Bookshelf speakers that have a very flat response and they sounded great. The only issue I had was that the right pair of terminals on the amp were skewed towards each other which would have caused the speaker cables to touch if I hadn't twisted them round a bit. QC needs to pay a bit more attention.

A powerful and compact amplifier.
This is an amazingly small amplifier which is amazingly loud for it’s size. It comes complete with a separate power supply.I teamed it with a pair of JBL Control 1 speakers which dwarf the amplifier in size but nonetheless produce an absolutely prodigious amount of sound.I found that the bluetooth was extremely easy to connect to the system and that the sound quality was very acceptable to my ears. Clearly it doesn’t have all the controls such as bass, treble and equalisation adjustments that a full size hifi system has but I was very happy with the output as comes out. It was adequately loud and well balanced and sufficiently clear and crisp for my elderly hearing. The volume knob is large compared to the size of the unit and has a pleasant ratchet feel as you rotate it which makes it easy to control. The instruction sheets with the amplifier show you different ways of connecting these amplifiers to get enhanced mono output for sub-woofers etc. This type of amplifier will suit someone who values having an acceptably loud music system with decent speakers but doesn’t want a massive footprint. I think it is very good value for money.
