Easy to use and effective
This item is a heating pad that encompasses the chin, temple, sides and back of your head. It is marketed to people with TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction and the pain associated with it. But I find it is also helpful for various types of headaches. I used it recently to help me deal with some tooth pain from grinding. That pain went up the side of my face and the head heating pad was helpful. The velcro-like connectors are fine for keeping the pad position on the head. I found the controls easy to use. The high level heat seems to be too hot for me. The medium heat seemed to be my sweet spot. It has timers to ensure you don't use it too long. I tried spraying some water in it and that does add some additional heat comfort like being in a steam bath of sorts. This heating pad needs to be plugged in with an included 12v wall adapter. I think the price point is reasonable. Overall, an effective way to get heat around your head to address various pain issues.

Excellent source of heat on the right spots! TMJ relief
This fits nicely. I wear a size 7 fitted hat and it fits just right. If your head is any bigger you can adjust it. It was hot within seconds which is great! Even hot across the temple and forehead and chin. I appreciate the timer and settings. This was a very nice find. I highly recommend for someone having TMJ issues.

LOVE these!!! But be aware of potential issue with remote!
I have ordered several products from this brand and I LOVE every single one of them!! They work so well, and, personally, they have really helped with my sinuses. This particular one, wraps around your face to provide heat from all angles. To secure it in place it has a wide fabric (that is stretchy so that it will fit all different sizes) and you connect it over the top of your head with the velcro. It also has the same connection that goes around the back of your head too. Both are very stretchy and soft and can be adjusted to your size and comfort level. The heating pad fits snuggly around your chin, forehead, and sides of your head and provides heat at 3 different adjustable levels: High, medium, and low. The fabric is very soft and comfortable too. I've found it to be great for headaches. It comes with an easy to use remote that plugs into the wall adapter and the heating wrap. The remote has an LED screen that's easy to read, and lets you choose between the 3 heat settings I mentioned above. It will also let you choose between different amounts of time. Time increments range from 15 minutes all the way to 90 minutes and once it's lapsed it will automatically shut off. You can also clearly see how much time you have left before it's supposed to shut off on the LED screen at any point in time.As much as I seriously do LOVE these products!! (No lie, I literally use them EVERY SINGLE DAY!) There is one thing I want to point out that has been a MAJOR PITFALL for me. As all of the devices use the EXACT SAME remote (which is nice in the sense that if you own more than one then they can be swapped out) I ordered one of these back in June of this year, and, like I said before, I used it every single day... well by September (Take note, that's only THREE MONTHS LATER!) the remote completely stopped working... I was extremely upset and tried to find a contact to see about replacing the remote and I was never able to get in touch with anyone. I am very thankful that I had other products, such as this one, that I was able to change out the remote. However, I am very skeptical over whether or not the other remotes are going to end up having the same issue. I really hope not, but only time will tell.Due to each of these devices using this EXACT SAME remote though, I feel like this is a VERY IMPORTANT potential issue that buyers should be made aware of, especially at the current price of $36. I would be HIGHLY upset if I paid close to $40 for something and 3 months later the remote completely gave out rendering it worthless.

Rather nice
I had to wait a while to try this, because my bedroom setup needed a reconfiguration to allow this to be used. The device is fairly simple enough to use. The fleecy harness-like apparatus straps onto the head from the back or top, depending on which makes you more comfortable. The controls are a lot like most heating pads these days. It took a second to get the hang of it. I set it to low for the minimum time of 15 minutes, and found it warmed up my head nicely. I think that if I should wish to go for a longer exposure of say 90 minutes, it would have an even greater effect on my tense jaw muscles. Unfortunately, my tense jaw is a result of not just tense jaw, but tense neck & shoulders with harsh spasms. So I would need to add a heating pad to those areas to loosen them. However, if one wanted to do an at-home spa treatment with hot pads on the face, shoulders, and such, this would be a good choice. I plan to do just this in the near future to help reduce my stress levels and their effects on my body, combining it with red light therapy and some relaxing CDs.
