But it’s worth noting that the phone does just work as a little game console if there’s no sim card inserted.In the compact colourful box you get the phone itself, a soft silicon cover with a unicorn on it, instructions, a charging lead and a neck lanyard, so that it doesn’t get left behind the first time they take it out!In use it seems pretty robust, and after two weeks with my niece is still in one piece and charging well. The screen is covered with little sticky fingerprints, but it wipes clean and in general is keeping her entertained, particularly the video camera, which she loves. It’s great that you can take the videos off the phone and store them long-term on your laptop. The only downside has been that when we were away for the weekend we got her a £10 sim so that she could phone us, and she rustled through it in one morning!In all though it seems tough and cute and is a nice intro to that kind of menu system (and the concept that once you’ve spent your allowance phoning up people who are sat next to you at the table, that’s it!). A tough and entertaining little game phone.

The touchscreen works really well and it’s packed with fun features like a camera, games, music, an alarm, and even two, way talk, which she loves using to pretend she’s calling family. What really impressed me was how much it keeps her entertained while also offering learning games that are actually helpful. It’s simple enough for younger kids to use but has enough going on to still be fun for older ones too.

Such a cute phone for my daughter, has pre added stories, kids songs and great features for smaller kids who keep asking for a phone of their own! The camera feature makes it more realistic. Easy to use and great value for money
