No! You have to use a transformer, not an adapter. Exploded mine by using my 110v curler with a 220v adapter today. Don't make my mistakes.

You need to use heat protectant in your hair to prevent damage. All heated tools will prevent damage if you do not use a protectant. What makes this iron special is that the barrel winds.
