Superb! Quiet And Efficient
I really am bowled over by how good this portable fridge/freezer is! It's a substantial size and will easily carry enough food to keep your boat or camper van stocked with perishables for several days. The unit arrives securely boxed, surrounded by polystyrene. Inside are two power connectors, one for plugging into the 240V domestic mains power supply, and the other a 12 volt connector for a car or boat battery. That makes this suitable for use either on the go, or as a back-up fridge for your home, and very useful it is too in that role, for chilling drinks before a party! The controls could not be more simple - you just press a button to select your desired temperature and let the thing get on with it's job. Whatever temperature you set is reached fairly speedily, and remains reliably at that level thereafter. You can set this to lightly chill drinks right down to solidly freeze the contents, and the entire space inside is in one temperature zone.I'm impressed by the quality of design and build, and this certainly isn't a cheap and cheerful device. It's nicely finished, looks sleek, and the lid opens smoothly, with a nice latch action and air seal to keep it functioning efficiently. It's also remarkably quiet in operation - it makes less sound than my high-end min kitchen fridge!I'm very glad to have this, and I can thoroughly recommend it, whether for overflow party drinks at home, transporting frozen and chilled foods from the shops or market, or for adventures out and about. It's a great piece of kit, and good value for money in my humble opinion. I'm awarding the full five stars.

Cool!
The Alpicool 35L portable fridge is supplied with both 100-240V AC and 12/24V DC power adapters, providing the flexibility to be powered by the mains supply or your car. With battery protection settings, there’s peace of mind that it won’t exhaust your car battery too.The 35L capacity is great - of courses it does mean that the fridge takes up som considerable boot space whe you’re packing for that camping trip. The fridge cools quickly, and the compressor noise is acceptable (actually quieter than the noise our aging fridge in the kitchen makes sometimes). The outer shell seems tough enough to deal with the inevitable knocks and bumps, the lid is reversible and there’s even an interior light.

Compact and effective cooling
Great little fridge that handles both chilling and freezing needs with ease. The rapid cooling function is impressive, reaching low temperatures quickly, which is ideal for road trips or outdoor adventures. It’s compact enough to fit comfortably in the car yet has ample storage for drinks, snacks, and more. Noise levels are low, which I found helpful when trying to relax. Battery protection also keeps it safe during extended use, preventing any drain on the car’s battery. A reliable and efficient portable solution.

Very effective, compact enough for its capacity. Needs decent handles though
When taking trips away in the car, having somewhere to effectively keep food and drinks cool is a must-have, in my opinion. This 15L car fridge from 'Alpicool' is a good option. It is the smallest and cheapest option available from this seller, with larger, pricier ones also available. The size of the box makes it look larger than it actually is - the actual refrigeration unit take up a good portion of the box itself, however the storage area is still plentiful. We fit a litre bottle of milk, sandwiches and other snacks in, with plenty of space for airflow.Operation of the temperature setting is easy - simply increase or decrease to the desired temp, and the motor will adjust it to that setting over a short period of time. A small display tells you what the current temperature is.Supplied are two power leads - one for mains connection, and one that will go into the power socket of your car (for those vehicles still with this adapter in place). We plugged it in in the car during the drive to our destination, and then overnight in the wall plug in the B&B. At all times it maintained it's chosen temperature perfectly. Once unplugged, it does lose its coldness over time, but it takes a while, so you can be confident that it will keep your food cool when disconnected from power for a time. The fridge weighs a lot - it is surprisingly heavy, considering its relatively diminutive size. This in itself is to be expected, however what causes an issue is the lack of a good pair of handles on it to ease carrying. The handles are fairly shallow scoops, which does make carrying it around a little more difficult than it ought to be.Cost-wise, it is priced competitively, compared to others available on Amazon. I do feel it is expensive for what it is, however it is very effective at what it does. Build quality seems good too, so hopefully it will last a long time.It loses a star for the lack of decent carrying handles - for me this is a pretty big oversight on something that weighs so much, and is designed to be a portable accessory. For its cooling capabilities, it is spot on though and works very, very well.

Keeps items cold effectively
Keeping food and drinks cold on long drives has been straightforward with this portable fridge. The cooling is quick, reaching the desired temperature rapidly, and it maintains it well. The compact size fits easily in the car boot, yet it holds a surprisingly large amount. Having the option to power it with both AC and DC is a huge plus, especially for trips that involve both car and campsite stays. The quiet operation is ideal, too, keeping things peaceful during overnight stops.
