Good looking product that, if you squint, does a fair impression of an Apple OEM MagSafe charger. It has a brushed metallic back, which is less shiny than it looks in the pictures.The cable is a plastic sleeve like older Apple chargers rather than the newer braided type. It has a strong magnetic attachment through my phone case and lines up easily, but it charges slightly slower than using the charging port. Whether this is because of the case or the charger (or the technology), I’m not sure, but it’s quick enough for me. It’s also about 40 cm longer than an in-box charger, which makes using it much more convenient than a 1-meter cable but not as unwieldy as a 2-meter cable.I often charge my phone with a charging port cable while I’m using it, sometimes resting the phone on my stomach or a table, which over time causes the pin to bend. This product solves this issue. The back of the charger becomes very slightly warm to the touch in use, but this is normal.The charger is USBC, which is great for forward compatibility but also comes with USBA to USBC converters, allowing you to use older chargers in the meantime.If I deduct £3 for two adapters that I would have needed to get if this product had been supplied without them (the cheapest I’ve seen on Amazon), they work out at £7 a piece, which is good value.

perfect size for desk mount and bargain price for 2 but knew it was a risk cheaping out on apple original. the back is not very metallic so does stay in the desk mount when you pull the phone off magsafe so have resorted to whitetack, otherwise no problems. UPDATE: These do get hot and the iphone has to stop charging until it cools down. Otherwise they work, I've heard the apple originals also get hot.

my work mate had a buly battery case on his iphone and it ultimatley ended up snapping his charging port ,so being a good work mate i purchased this so i could give 1 to him and 1 to my daughter .they come in quite a good quality box and is very easy to use ,it clamps on to the phone for dear life and charges at a fair pace not as fast as normal but plenty fast .they actually feel good quality and not cheap like some i have seen,the fact there is 2 makes it a bonus .all in all a good little unit to bypass a faulty charge point or just have on the side to give a boost before a journey.

Perfect, works great long lead and fast charging got for a good price too.

Slowest charger I’ve ever experienced. Useless, ain’t got all day to charge my phone. Wish I never brought it.

This has a strong magnet. I tend to use it at night, to charge on my bedside table.If you’re looking for a quick charger, this isn’t it. I’ve tried it with an without the usb converter on the end. Same results. Takes hours to charge.If you’re just leaving it, that’s fine. But if you actually need it, I’d recommend an OEM product.
