I wanted these plastic mirrors to make an "Infinity Mirror" where these would serve as the mirror backer. Although having a perfectly flat surface was not critical for my use, I was pleasantly surprised to see these are very smooth and flat giving a true mirror reflection versus a distorted ripple image.For my application I wanted to be able to cut the sheet with a knife instead of using a saw just for simplicity. These are thin enough for me to be able to score and essentially cut with a steel ruler and a strong exacto type blade. I scored the plastic surface several times making multiple passes and was able to obtain a smooth cut/break. I snapped the scored line similar to the way one would cut glass. To do this I laid the mirror on a 1/8" thick piece of wood and using the steel ruler to hold the larger side, snapped off the excess portion. WORKED! The mirror surface is good offering a good reflection close to a glass mirror. Note that this is indeed thin and to use as a mirror you would want to support the back to keep it flat to avoid any distortion. I find this working perfect for my needs!

This is not what it is advertised as. Even some reviews said it was visible through one side and they are not. I got this for a birdhouse so the kids could look through one side and not spook the birds. You can not see through either side.
