Works brilliantly F56 Mini
Required to refit shock absorbers on F56 Mini (2014), it was perfect, made the job really easy

Works as intended
The splitter has some weight to it which is reassuring. The screw that forces them apart is well-machined with an accurate thread.It comes with a 10mm spanner. Ratchet on one end, regular open spanner on the other. It's not bad quality, but nothing premium either. It does make working the bolt head much easier though and is a nice inclusion.

This little spreader is really nicely made, and seems to be made from good quality steel. The bolt even has a ball-bearing to reduce friction. There are two pairs of jaws, straight and curved, on opposite sides of the tool. The curved pair are thinner, and will go in smaller gaps.A decent-quality ratchet/open-ended 10mm spanner to fit the bolt head is included, probably not necessary - most users will have a 10mm spanner - but a nice bonus.This version is currently unavailable, so I can't comment on value, but I see that there are numerous doppelgangers for sale at various prices.
