A Must-Have for Health-Conscious Gardeners
I am delighted with my purchase of Japanese Edamame Seeds from MySeeds.Co! As an avid gardener and health enthusiast, I was drawn to these seeds for their high protein content and delectable taste. The soybean plants thrived in my garden, and within 80-90 days, I had a bountiful harvest of clusters of pods, each containing 2-5 beans. The pods were plump and green, signaling the perfect time for picking. These edamame plants yield generously and served as a nutritious and satisfying snack, lightly simmered and sprinkled with a touch of salt. The versatility of these edamame beans pleasantly surprised me. I've added them to stir-fries, paired them with meats and other vegetables, and even enjoyed them as a wholesome side dish. These plants' productive nature and excellent nutritional value make them a valuable addition to any garden. I wholeheartedly recommend Japanese Edamame Seeds for gardeners looking to elevate their culinary experience with a delightful, protein-packed treat straight from the garden.

Can’t wait to eat
Great value, lots of seeds. Haven’t tasted them yet because they are still growing. Plants look very healthy.

no germination
My first time purchasing these seeds. I planted 12 seeds, they are in my green house with heating mats and grow lights. The picture is taken at 4 weeks, only 1 seed germinate! I will try again, planting another round of 12 and see what happens. At this point, I'm very disappointed 😞

Bought for science - good growth.
I ordered these for my kid's high school science experiment. We planted them in indoor starter trays using Miracle-Gro potting mix, gave each on about 1.5 tablespoons of water, and covered them. We had germination in about 5 days and about a 80% success rate. We watered with about a tablespoon of water when the soil started looking dry. I cannot comment on the actual soy beans, though. We contaminated our plants over the course of 2 weeks with various concentrations of detergent-laced water and then ended the experiment. The set of plants that we watered with normal tap water grew to about 20-25" in about 2 weeks after germination. This was indoors, 68F, with an "Abonnyc" full spectrum 3-element grow light 10 hours a day. When we yanked the plants from their planter at the end of the experiment, they had well formed root systems. I'd say if you start these indoors and transplant outside (in season), you'll have pretty good results. Just make sure you don't have a bunch of detergent run-off flowing through your garden or you may get less impressive results.

Every bean sprouted
Great purchase, really took off and sprouted in 7 days, give them a few more days as the package says 7-10 days. I started indoors due to still cooler weather here in Massachusetts. Definitely recommend this brand. Yes I play plant music (there's an app for that) happy harvesting.

Growing like crazy
I purchased from another seller first and they didn't work. These have all sprouted and are growing great! My kids love them and are so excited to start picking.

Failed to thrive
I planted these and some other beans in pots. The others are large and vigorous, but these had few survivors and poor growth. I think they all sprouted but didn't break through the heavy black dirt I used. The one that did make it has not grown since. I could plant them shallower and use potting soil, but compared to other beans under the same conditions these just did not thrive.

Not a dud in the lot
My husband tried starting them inside and only a few actually started growing. He then tried planing the seeds in our garden, and all seemed to have taken growth. We have 21 plants going (which we did not expect). They will be ready to harvest in a few weeks. (The are the tall, bright green, leafy plants in front.)
