Good stuff
This stuff looks like bead blasted aluminum. On valve covers or intake manifolds it is gasoline and brake fluid safe and doesn’t corrode in our damp climate. Pretty cool.

CRC Brake Cleaner Removes the Paint
I'm not trying to trash the product but CRC Brake Cleaner will remove the paint. I spent a lot of time painting my calipers. The finish looked great. After bleeding the brakes, I sprayed a little CRC Brake Cleaner on the caliper to remove the excess Brake Fluid. It removed the paint. If you're going to clean the caliper, use simple green instead of brake cleaner.
