Fantastic clone of headphones we know and love.
It's an excellent clone of the bose quiet comfort. ANC works phenomenally well, same amazing comfort as the bose and basically the same construction. The battery life is well over 100 hours. Somewhere in the ballpark of 150 hours of playback without ANC. The dual device connectivity is extremely convenient as well. Syncs right up with my nintendo switch and phone as well. As far as sound quality, these are not audiophile cans, they are lifestyle cans. That being said, they're not fatiguing and very detailed. Bass linearity is OK and they're quite neutral. I could not complain about this. Seems the pads would be compatible with the bose as well but I pulled on them hard and they didn't budge. I'll wait until I wear them out to yank them off. All in, fantastic design. If you're apprehensive about shelling out for the more expensive bose, you can try these out since they basically accomplish all the same things.

Good But A Little Too Much Treble
Unboxing and AccessoriesThe Kiwi Ears Ardor arrives in a sleek, rectangular black box. Inside, you'll find a zippered storage case for the headphones, a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable, and a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging. The package also includes a user manual.Charging and Battery LifeThe Ardor is advertised as having fast charging, although Kiwi Ears does not specify which charging protocol it uses or its maximum charging speed. While I have not had to charge the Ardor yet after a week or so of use (it is currently at 70% charge), I did quickly test it with an Anker 45W PD charger to confirm that PD charging works. Battery life is advertised as 72 hours with ANC on, which would be astonishing if true. I will try to update this review in the future with a more definitive judgment of the battery life.Build Quality and DesignThe Ardor features a lightweight plastic construction that prioritizes comfort over durability. While this keeps the headphones easy to wear for extended periods, the build quality feels less premium than I'd prefer. The hinges on the foldable ear cups appear particularly vulnerable and might not withstand rough handling. The headband offers adequate padding and adjustability, though I wish more attention had been paid to the control buttons—the power button sits nearly flush with the housing and is difficult to distinguish from the adjacent ANC toggle by touch alone.Comfort and FitI found the Ardor to be very comfortable for prolonged use thanks to its lightweight build, restrained clamping force, and soft earpads. However, because of the relatively light clamping force, the Ardor is not super stable on the head. Passive noise isolation is below average.Sound QualityThe Ardor has a bright Harman-style tuning with a noticeable boost in the lower treble region. The bass has moderate sub-bass extension and mid-bass impact, and is tightly articulated but not very textured. The midrange is on the cooler side, with excellent clarity and vocal presence. Male vocals sound detailed and gritty, and female vocals sound brilliant if ever so slightly sibilant. Percussion is crisp but a little bit on the thin side, and distorted electric guitars have a tad too much top-end energy, which reduces heft and weight in their rendering. The treble is forward and detailed, but borders on harshness. I do not recommend this headphone for treble-shy listeners or anyone seeking a smooth or relaxed presentation. With that said, treble transient delivery is fairly realistic and not overly splashy sounding. There's a fair amount of upper treble air, and the size of the soundstage is larger than I would have expected from a closed back headphone, even if imaging remains solidly average.Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and ConnectivityThe Active Noise Cancellation performance of the Ardor falls short of expectations. While it adequately dampens consistent, low-frequency ambient sounds like keyboard typing when music is playing, it struggles with sudden or louder noises. Hand claps, voices, and other variable sound sources remain clearly audible. This places the Ardor's noise cancellation capabilities below what you'd find in similarly priced offerings from the major brands. On a positive note, Bluetooth connectivity remains stable with no dropouts during my testing period, and the multipoint pairing feature works reliably when switching between devices.

Excellent value of ANC Wireless with Crisp Sound
I was totally blown away by the audio fidelity and ANC quality of the kiwi ears. I just parted with my beloved QC35 (second pair I’ve owned in 5 years) and I need a backup to my AirPod pro. I’m a heavy headphone and anc user due to old house heat and AC sound.I was immediate attracted by the similar look and feel of kiwi like my QC35. And immediately connected with my phone and give it a try. I was sitting in my kitchen and turned on ANC. My kitchen hood sound just completely disappeared. And I cranked the music on, it’s crisp and decent. When the bass hit in, oh man the joy. It’s such a competitive package in this price point. I’d image traveling with it too.

Outstanding Sound & Battery Life.
This headphone exceeded my expectations. It delivers crisp high and deep bass. Perfect for music lover like me. The Hybrid ANC does a great job at reducing background noise. Battery life is phenomenal- lasted me for more than two weeks. I rarely need to charge them. The connectivity is reliable and can be connected to multiple devices. The design can be made little more lightweight and more comfortable for extended use. The size is also ideal for such type of product. The finish is really of high quality. These headphones are an excellent choice!

Best $100 anc headphone
These headphones are great for music lovers and gamers, very comfortable and great long lasting battery. The sound is very detailed for the price and the anc does a great job to rid background noise especially if u got noisy kids around.

Could have been incredible value, but let down by comfort
I had really high hopes for these given Kiwi Ears' track record with IEMs. For $99, they are decent headphones. They have a clean sound that leans neutral but has a bit of punch on the low end. Vocals are clear with the right amount of sparkle. The ANC is quite effective, especially for the price point. I also like the leather accents on the outside of the earcups. The earcups are just way too small for me. They feel like on-ear headphones more than over-ear, and I was getting pain after only 10 minutes of usage due to how cramped my ears were. There's also a nub in the center of each earcup, presumably for the noise canceling mic, that sticks out too far and can poke your ear. I also couldn't skip or go back a track with the headphone's multifunction button, I could only play or pause.Overall, if you have small ears, these might work for you. It's definitely at a great price point and the sound is solid (good thing it is, since there's no app to EQ). The comfort is what held these back for me, but your mileage may vary.
