Fit my older razor with no problems. Gets the job done

I misplaced the charger for my Philips Norelco 7140 XL almost 10 years ago and never bothered searching for a replacement. Recently I found my charger in storage and realized how much I’ve missed this brand. This time, I decided to take action and find a replacement charger.Since this razor was over 10 years old, I wasn’t sure if finding one was possible. I searched around the web and kept coming back to Amazon. I thankfully found this manufacturer after a long search and reading through countless reviews, which warned of chargers not fitting as advertised, the fact that some don’t last, and some reviews went as far to warn others that the chargers advertised simply do not work.Not only does this charger fit my decades old razor, it’s durable, and it’s price is listed lower than most others on the Amazon Marketplace. And I want to emphasize that the majority of other chargers I found were questionable at best. The fact that this charger is less expensive and more reliable is a win-win.I’ve been happy with the charger since buying it. I’ve been able to dust off the old Norelco and put it to a spin again.

Does not work in most of my apartment receptacles. Other different phone and tablet chargers working perfect everywhere. Plug was probably designed by janitor. (not electrical engineer). Not sure that it will not blow up at 240V.Do not waste money and time! Get it from PHILIPS with about 1 week delivery, but it will function correctly.In description it states Philips charger. In reality it just look like original that I lost. It is not PHILIPS it is just supposed to fit and replace Philips.

Looks average to above average. Chinese build, decent plastics, but missed some details like the way the prongs are designed, so it looks knock-off’ish. It has the kind of build that if I was a frequent traveler, who was carrying it with me from hotel to hotel, I'd probably be ready with a backup. Given that I'm just plugging it once for the charging station I have, it should work without issue for some time to come.

I am back! I want to thank the seller and Amazon for making these power cords available , and at an affordable price. The power cord worked on 2 of my Norelco shavers. I tried it on the Norelco that I use every day, and on the Norelco that a friend borrowed last year. I am buying this replacement cord to replace the replacement power cord that he lost. The good news, I have never had one of these power cords wear out. The quality is as good as the original.

I had to replace the charger on my Philips razor after we moved, as the original was one of those items that even though you know it was packed for the move it didn't show up after unpacking. I have not found any issue with this charger and it charges my razor as quickly as the original charger. The unit doesn't get hot and functions like the original charger. Thanks Tyzest for a great product.
