How many keys do you think you have? We found out when we looked at a plastic container and couldn’t figure out what was what! This product was our saviour. We have cars, a golf cart, bike, tractor, generator, etc, and we labeled all of the extra keys and put them here.The other day we had to open the generator to look at something and I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to just open this box and get our generator key that we labeled. Quick and easy.We also discovered all those old keys from old locks and things that no longer existed, yet we had them just stored for no reason.Don’t stress, and take your time just labeling those extra keys. It truly has given us peace of mind knowing we don’t have to ask “where’s the key?”

Lock box is well made and sturdy but the I.D. tags for the keys are awful! There is a piece of paper in the little tag with a piece of lamination over the paper. There is no easy way to remove the paper to write information on it without prying the plastic out of the tag. There is a small slit in the back of the tag and I tried to pull the paper out of the tag to write the key info on it but you cannot pull the paper out so you have to pop the laminated cover out write the info on the paper then spend 5 minutes trying to get the plastic back into the tag to protect the paper. The plastic gets bent and then you can't read the information you just wrote on the paper. This may seem like a small issue but 48 tags! I had to trim the laminate edges to get it back into the tag. A lot of trouble to label each key. Maybe write on the plastic with a sharpie and tape over the ink.

The right size at the right price. Using to lock house key sup in the garage in case we lock ourselves out.

Our community needed a way to organize and store extra mail box keys. We decided on this based on a combination of size, color, and price. The blue color makes it easy to find in the storage area. It did come with screws to put it into the wall, but the location of the screw holes is in the middle of the box. It they were more toward the top, it would be more sturdy. The biggest disappointment is that the key fobs have rings (that you use to attach to the key) that are very fragile. Again, we knew it was a trade off between quality and price. This is the main reason for the lower rating. If we were going to use it on a more frequent basis, we would have purchased a more robust key box. It will work well for our use. I would have paid extra for more sturdy key fobs.

Many of these type products come with a cheap sheet metal key. Not this one. It comes with a nice key that looks a lot more secure. We didn't want something that could be broken into with a screwdriver! The box is solid and it seems well built. We are using it to store USB Flash Drives for data security.

I wouldNot spend the money on this item if I knew how cheaply built it was
