Amazing LF Driver with very low distortion
We have used a pair of these in a speaker project with extraordinary results. Currently, we've an F3 of 38Hz which is excellent for the driver size. Distortion is very low, bass is tight and well-defined with careful enclosure tuning. Do be aware that rated long-term power is only 60W, however with the driver being quite efficient, this isn't really an issue. The only other aspect to be mindful of is that the driver does drop right down to 2.7 ohms (measured). This will present a challenge to a low-powered/cheap amplifier but should be completely fine with any respectable piece of kit.I'd suggest exploring using the driver with a 2nd order low pass filter with a notch to help tame the small peak which occurs around 5500Hz. Doing so will yield an incredibly flat, detailed LF extension which should pair up easily with any high quality tweeter.
