The Droewors are South Africa's version of the Slim Jim only larger, tastier, and less greasy. If you like their biltong, you'll love these.

As someone who lived in South Africa, I have been scouring the US interwebs for a comparable biltong. While this doesn’t hit 100%, this is the closest I’ve gotten and I’m satisfied. So this is who I give all my money to.

I'm an ex-South African, and I say, for both biltong & droewors >> BLEDIE KAK (BLOODY CRAP)Not worth the overpriced tag I paidBuyers beware !!Biltong has Too much fat/gristle...tough to chew, have to swallow it in a ball. Droewors has a weird gamy stench & tasteUGH !!YUK !!

These are great… most of the time. However more recent batches have been incredible oily and lacks flavor. Also, these have been increasing in price and I don’t think there is enough bang for your buck anymore

I really like jerky, and while Biltong is different from jerky it's also similar enough. This is really good, it doesn't taste very salty which is nice. It has a good flavor overall, and it's something I have to make myself stop eating, otherwise I can eat the whole bag without thinking to much of it.The Droewors are good, more sausage like, cuz that's what it is. They have a snap to them, I think cuz they use lamb casings. Flavor is great, the only thing I don't really like about them, they have more fat and leave a greasy feel in my mouth after I eat it.I've never had either before, so I can't say how authentic it is compared to what you would get in Africa, but I think both are good. I'll buy more of the Biltong, the Droewors I'll still keep buying not as often however.Given how much jerky is this is a bit more money, but it's also less mass made. So I understand why it's priced as it is. But I find it to be a good value for the money quality wise and flavor wise.
