Upgrade worth it!
My Whoop has been a game-changer for my health, performance, and overall lifestyle. I am a trainer and work at a bar so late nights and early mornings are unavoidable sometimes days. My whoop has made a huge difference in how I pay attention to my sleep and recovery. I started with whoop almost a year ago and loved it. Was super excited about this new band and haven’t been disappointed. The new insights and tools this band provide are amazing and with the 14 day battery life I would say this upgrade is completely worth it.Knowing when to push harder or when to prioritize rest has been massive for me. And most wearables I never trusted but with whoop I would say we are on the same page 90% of the time. The daily strain and recovery metrics keep me on track with my goals, and the sleep tracking has significantly improved my quality of rest / knowing when I need to program in a nap.Whoop has helped me unlock a more intentional, optimized, and balanced version of myself. The accountability it brings is unmatched, and the long-term trends it provides have been key to sustaining high performance without burnout!

Disappointing Customer Service and Unethical Practices
Thinking of switching from WHOOP 4.0 to 5.0? Don’t. The so-called “free upgrade” is a trap. The moment you try to return, update, or manage your account, WHOOP shows its true face: a company built on confusion, hidden charges, and a broken support system.Customer service is a black hole — canned responses, no resolution, and endless back-and-forth. You’ll waste hours, if not weeks, trying to fix simple issues while they quietly keep charging you.New to WHOOP? Don’t even start. There are far better fitness trackers out there — cheaper, clearer, and with actual customer support.Already on 4.0? Don’t upgrade. In fact, consider letting your subscription expire. Walking away from WHOOP is the best upgrade you’ll ever make. It’ll save you money, time, and the headache of dealing with one of the most anti-consumer companies in the wellness space.

Not what it's made out to be.
I finally bought one of these things because of all the hype and fell for it. I've used an apple watch for years and wanted to try something new but everything this offers is probably just going to be applied as an update on current apple watch models. I do high intensity workouts and run a few miles daily and this thing is counting calories as if I were working out for 3 hours. These products aren't meant to be precise but it's telling me I'm burning almost 600 calories more than what I did with my apple watch and even that device isn't accurate. Anyways I'm sure Whoop 6.0 will have a screen on the thing, and they'll slowly implement small features with every version in order to keep selling these devices. Great marketing but lackluster product.

Unbelievably Inaccurate
Might as well be using a random number generator to determine heart rate. During every workout (multiple walks, runs, and road biking) the heart rate fluctuates by 40+ bpm over the course of 30 seconds. Even a simple slow walk would report my HR as bouncing back and forth between zones 1 and 4 every couple of minutes. It’s less accurate and records fewer metrics than an Apple Watch/Garmin despite the subscription costing more than a new watch every year. If you really want 14+ days of battery life just get a Garmin.

Great device with incredible battery life
I'm new to Whoop, and this is an awesome product. The 14 day battery life means that I barely have to think about charging. The heart health and longevity capabilities are super cool. I'm really looking forward to using this more over the coming weeks. And the product looks great.

It’s an improvement
I paid about $400 to upgrade for ‘free’ from Whoop 4.0 to Whoop MG.The 4.0 was awful tracking my heart rate on a spin bike, unless I let my arm dangle at my side. The MG is slightly better, but I find my old Apple Watch to do a better job.The new features in the app are cool, but that novelty wears off quickly. The all routinely misses activities such as weight lifting or naps.
