I can't quite explain the magic behind the All Purpose Plant Superfood and Fertilizer, but once I started using it, my plants just began to thrive like never before! It’s incredible how much healthier and more vibrant they look after just a few applications. Leaves are greener, blooms are more abundant, and my plants just seem so much happier.Although the manufacturer says this little packet can make up to 70 gallons, I’ve been using it a bit differently. I sprinkle a small amount directly onto the soil before watering, and it still works wonders! Just a tiny bit goes a long way, and I’m amazed at the noticeable growth and vitality in such a short time.If you're looking for something to take your plants to the next level, I highly recommend giving this plant superfood a try. It truly feels like magic in a packet!

I have about 30 houseplants and I use JoyDirt on all but the most fussy (like my fiddle leaf fig). And they're absolutely growing like crazy!! The ones that are responding most enthusiastically are my red prayer plant, angel wing begonia and peace lily. My 2 spider plants and 4 pothos seem less impressed by it, but it's certainly not doing them any harm. (the pothos responded better to a more balanced, 5-3-3 fertilizer...)While JoyDirt is easy to apply - you just shake it out like salt - it's also easy to OVER apply. So I've started opening it up and using a measuring spoon to scoop out the amount I want to put on any given plant, rather than using the shaker top.

I have tried a number of other ‘big brand’ products for house plants and none worked as well as this one. I have seen more new growth with this plant food and all my plants just look healthier. It does tend to clump in the container, but shaking it restores it to fine powder, and it applies easily.

JOYFUL DIRT is a totally appropriate name! This stuff is AMAZING! I had been using a name brand, indoor house plant spike on my indoor plant friends and they were just limp and their colors were bland. They weren't happy.On to Amazon I went to search for something else. I read the reviews on this product and decided to give it a try. I received it yesterday and sprinkled A.VERY.SMALL AMOUNT on all 15 of my plants yesterday afternoon and watered per usual. This morning....EVERY.SINGLE.PLANT was bright and perky! I mean they look like different plants. Spider plants, Snake Plants, Christmas Cactus, Creeping Charlies, Geraniums...ALL of them bright green and perky!!!I've never seen such a dramatic change overnight! The photo is from this morning.It may seem a bit pricey at first, considering that the size of the container is comparable to your average spice jar, but you truly don't need to use a lot. (I suspect the folks that claim this killed their plants, may have been a bit heavy handed) Consider the directions advise 1 Tbsp / gallon of water. If you go the sprinkle/water route, I truly used a light dust and not even on the entire plant bed.I plan to use it at least twice a month and am even going to use it outdoors on my Roses.JOYFUL.DIRT.ROCKS!!!

This worked great on my indoor & outdoor plants but after using it once, the product clumped all together and I can no longer use. Is this common? I'd love to buy another one but don't want to have the same thing happen again.

I love how easy this is to use. I just sprinkle some into my watering can, fill with water, and follow my normal watering routine. I use this pretty much every watering and use it all year. My plants continue to put out new growth and 3 of my Hoyas are blooming. Plus, it lasts long time for the price (about 3 months with weekly and biweekly watering of 250+ plants) and is as good as others I have tried that only last through one watering for the same price. I probably do not use as much as the directions indicate but I use every watering.Be aware that you should not premix and save a large jug. I did that early on in my plant collecting with this good and when I opened the jug a week later and used it, my house smelled of dead fish and rotting vegetables for a week. It was almost intolerable.
