CoSaMo 783 Love Your Color Black (Pack of 3)

Hello😊! I purchased 3 boxes of your product in Aug 2019 but I’ve been afraid to use it. When using hair dyes in the past, I always developed a severe allergic reaction. So I pretty much gave up years ago, of ever finding a product that would work. Aug 2019? I decided to search again online. When I saw your product, I believed😊😊😊. I was scared so I left it on for 25 minutes rinsed it out and my hair was still gray. I was disappointed but I tried it again later and I left it on for 45 to 50 minutes. Hallelujah it worked. 98%, of my hair was jet black and that was good enough for me. I’m happy and very very grateful to you. I am a customer for life and I’m going to pass it on to every beautician that I know. Now I can grow older gracefully😉, with your hair dye. Thanks again 😊. Phyllis C

I bought this product with high hopes. I patch tested it on the inside of my arm and had no reaction. I thought I was good. I use this to dye the grays in my beard and washed it out just using water. I basically covered almost all my grays and I was happy. All is well, except in one week my beard starts itching (the color also starts fading and by week 2 needs to be re-done). The itching gets worse and worse each day until I have lot of dandruff coming out each time I scratch and its watery.I had high hopes but this is disappointing. Maybe I should be washing it out with conditioner? I'm so disheartened. Let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

I dyed my hair black (I have natural medium ash brown) and did so all the time when I was younger. Suddenly out of the blue I became allergic to hair dye (paraphenylenediamine, paratoulenediamine) and I have been so devastated for several years not being able tocolor my hair. I found this out of desperation looking for Loving Care, which I heard was a great option for sensitive people like myself. This hair color is states it's more for blending away gray, but I don't have gray just tired of the same old ashy hair color. I just applied it all over my hair, let it for a couple of hours and WOW! No reaction after patch test, no reaction so far and the color is SO BEAUTIFUL! :D Not to mention the texture and shine of my hair, I am completely impressed and hope they never do away with this because I am in love. Thank you for creating this hair color formula!

I'am highly allergic to PPD in haircolor and Cosamo is the only thing I can use. Makes my hair super healthy and shiny. Not perfect for covering all the greys but works! The more you use it the better it works. Been using it now for 4 years and love it... truly has saved me from being grey. I apply it with gloves and leave it on for a hour or so, cover with a plastic cap then rinse. This product is super gentle and will not irratate your scalp. It only last several shampoos but not much else I can use since Iam allergic to about every other hair color. Don't know what I would do if they discontinued it. fast shipping! Some toxic ingredients: Methylisothiazolinone (MIT), benzyl alcohol, and fragrance on the ingredients list. MIT is known to cause neurotoxicity, lung toxicity and swollen intestines.The European SCCS has declared that there is no safe concentration of MIT in leave-on products, and that concentrations in rinse-off products must be less than 15 parts per million. It is a known human skin toxicant/allergen that can cause itching, burning, scaling, hives, and blistering of skin.Benzyl alcohol has been classified as expected to be toxic or harmful by Environment Canada Domestic Substance List.Fragrances have serious toxicity concerns such as cancer, organ and nervous system toxicity, cardiovascular problems, and endocrine disruption. Fragrance definitely serves no added benefits.I contacted the manufacturer regarding the ingredients for this product and I quoted them the literature I found on the web about the potential toxicity of these ingredients. They asked the distributor nationwide campus to contact me. And the guy said I made misleading "statements" and "remarks". I told him I'm quoting the research that I found from the web from several cosmetic ingredient safety databased. this guy was too dense to get it. Kept saying it was safe to use without offering any proof or detailed explanation. And said that it's made in the USA, and not China. And that automatically means it's safe? I tried to return this via Amazon, but seller wanted me to pay for shipping the product back AND pay a $50 restocking fee!! The Amazon rep was great though. Tried repeatedly to contact this seller to ask them for a shipping label since they're already charging me a restocking fee. But this greedy and slimy seller refused. Stay far away from this product with its toxic ingredients and utterly despicable seller and distributor

I am one of the many allergic to PPD so I am happy to find any hair color that covers my gray without giving me a bad reaction. CoSaMo comes with good instructions, an applicator bottle, a packet of hair conditioner and a plastic hair cover. I don't know how easy or hard it is to use the applicator bottle because I just take the whole thing to my hairdresser to apply and she puts the hair color in a bowl and applies it with a brush. I do the max time 40 - 45 minutes to get the best gray cover. The color is supposed to last 6 - 12 washings. For me, it's about 6. That's the only downside because I wash my hair a lot. Over-all, I'm glad to have found this one.

When Cosamo stopped producing color black 783, I tried every product who claimed no PPD or allergic reaction. I can assure you non of them worked. Cosamo is back on the market and I am back to using Cosamo Black 783 with no allergic reactions. Now I am completely gray so for those that are the same. I recommend that you put on plenty of color and let it stay on for at least an hour. I would also recommend not to wash your hair often then the color will last longer. It is not a permanent color so do not expect it to maintain the color the same as a permanent color. My hair color looks great and looks natural. Thank you Cosamo
