Expensive in the short run but not in the long run. It is so rich and tasteful that you can use less of it than the cheap stuff. Or like me, use lots anyway and enjoy the good life. Really, it's that good.

From the moment of opening I new that the Old Balsamic was again live and in my possession. The age and thickness. The undeniable of being created by masters taking years of labor and love. All come out. Excellent on a Salad, Fruit, Vegies, Beef, Fish, Chicken or added as a depth addition to a sauce. I'm home again, an Italian son. Great purchase! Thanks Amazon!

Although it says on Amazon this is 18YO balsamic, nothing on the actual label indicates it really is 18. That said, the quality is good, with the right mix of sweetness and acidity.
