although it was smaller than expected,this model is the best one we have purchased yet.Most of the pieces were tiny and easily placed.This one was def the most challenging modeling kit yet.There were about 200 pieces in all.I for one would recommend the yamato over the rest of these kits.I hope this review helped you with your purchase.

Cheap quality
This product is nowhere near the size it appears. Also it is very small and cheap material.

I do love this, lots of small parts though. Also my own fault for not reading that it was a waterline vessel so it does not have some of the ship. My fault, so oh well. Still like it though.

No instructions
Am I the only who didn’t see the instructions or having a difficult time putting the items together? I have idea where to start.

Tiny pieces made it difficult to put together
This was sent to someone as a gift & the person on the receiving end had difficulties with the tiny pieces but finally got it put together. He seemed to enjoy the project & pleased with the item.
