Know from title this might sound like a fake reviewer but this was the best purchase iv made all summer so far.....House sparrows were turning into a real pain for us. Bird droppings that had acculumated from years of nesting had rot my bedroom window frame to extent that it nearly needed replaced. Add to that the mess on my windows, the sight of the droppings around top of my bay window lead flashing and the noise of the birds in and out last year i had to take action.Thought that by thoroughly removing the nest a couple of years ago might have given them the hint to make their nest elsewhere but these birds are very persistant.Tried everything from cat sounds, old plastic carrier bags out windows, shiny CDs at different angles to even going outside and clapping to move the birds but none of these worked.Now with the bird spikes i have no issues. Easy to fit but didnt need all 10 sticks as 5 were enough being affixed to the roughcast apex using the included adhesive in a 2 top and 3 below pyramid formation.The first 24hours after fitting were quite noisy as the birds just didnt seem to learn. Also it wasnt just a couple of birds and i counted a least 3 indivduals vying for the space. Even a few weeks later the odd bird can still occasionally be seen testing their luck.In hindsight, I wish i had got this sooner and not wasted my time on earlier futile attempts of discouraging them away.

It arrived all assembled so no fiddling about with the wire trying to build. Came with the silicone to stick the strips down so all you need is a caulking gun

Still think they’re expensive for what they are but added to the ridge ends and gable ridge end I. My house. Look a bit like hedgehogs sat there. So far the purge on poo underneath has gone so they seem to be working

The pigeons simply land somewhere else and walk around them.

Seem OK so far roofer put up while woork on roof tiles so at moment stop birds sit on ridge & mess on path below &, me as came out door so time tell how long last.for now working.
