I am big on checking the entire spectrum of reviews and tend to pay particular attention to the negative reviews for a product before I actually pull the trigger. That being said, despite all of the negative reviews and the relevant causes for concern I decides to make the purchase and see for myself. So, in this spirit, allow me to address all of the negative reviews you will encounter here in your research. Fit: a lot of reviews will complain that it is not actually sized as described. None of those reviews supported their claims with photos, which lead me to doubt their validity. As a 6'1" middle aged man, pushing 300lbs with a dad body and whiskey barrel chest and belly and a size 38 waist, out of the package this does NOT fit. Guess what though, with six long and adjustable tri-glide fastened straps and adjustable belt (that's is also detachable) with a few moments spent making the necessary adjustments, I was able to improve the fir of the vest to near perfection.Velcro attached pistol holster is not secure, noisy and a poor fit for most sidearms. Well, the holster was able to accommodate my M&P 2.0 with 4" barrel, considered to be compact, and remained attached tightly and made zero Velcro noise while removing and replacing swiftly and forcefully and tugging on the pouch itself while the weapon was holstered to simulate potential snagging or bruahing. No movement and no noise- it is possible that the fabrication has been improved since these reviewsNot actual Marmot brand: this may be accurate. The attached retail tag featured the Marmot logo on mine, but I could not help but feel like it could likely be a replica, seemed outdated and a little blurry. Another common complaint: not professional grade tactical vest: it's a $40 product, you can't be serious with your expectations- you will be getting what you are paying for. However, this is an exceptional quality product with my sole agreement being in th quality of th zipper. It is janky and you can just tell it will inevitably ruin itself, which is why I was prepared prior to purchasing the item to replace the zipper with a component of better quality the moment it fails. Above all, I agree this is an entry level tactical vest and won't be my final venture into chest rigs, plate carriers and the like, but I really believe if you enter this transaction with realistic expectations, it will be really difficult to find a lot to disappoint with.

All you need
It is very lightweight and holds just about anything I can put on it.The extra pistol holster is a good back up.

Its ok....ish.
It's all right for airsoft or something similar. Even so, keep a close eye on your pistol as the holster is complete garbage and is only held on with a couple of really weak snaps. Any upward pulling on the holster and it comes right off which means you go to try to draw your pistol and it either falls off of the vest or the holster comes with it.

Great value for the price.
This is a great tactical vest for what you pay. Excellent construction, highly adjustable with lots of pockets and pouches, 2 of which are removable, as is the holster and belt. The belt is seriously heavy duty and adjusted to my 34" waist without issue and could go several more inches with ease. I saw some negative reviews about the holster mounting and size of the shotgun shell holder. I had no issues with either. The holster came mounted in the right hand draw position and was easy to adjust and remove. I like that it can be removed and used with a belt mount or drop leg rig allowing for the addition of another pouch or 2 in case I need to carry extra gear. I had no issues fitting 12 gauge shotgun shells in the removable shell holder either. They're tight, but they're supposed to be. There are 3 pockets for armor plates as well, in the event that you want to add them. This vest is an awesome value for the price. I'll be ordering another one just to have on hand. If you're looking in this price range then this is the one to buy.

cheap but works
main thing i wana say about this is im a bigger fella im 5'9" and 255 lbs give or take a few lbs and i still can fit into this after a few adjustments on it were made via the straps on its sides. so super nice adjustability id say as for durability i havnt been able to test this hardcore yet but so far shoving things in and out of it onto it and taking them off and putting things even attached to areas where their not ment to be and taking those items off just by yanking em off it they are good and so is the vest it doesnt seem to rip apart with any ease or be of a super low quality material i also was thinking that for the price the velcro would be a lower quality but somehow even that was a good quality overall this isnt a bad vest for the money done get me wrong it isnt stopping bullets or probably even a good knife stab but a quick slash at it and your probably not going to feel it. im actually shocked this was only i wana say 54 bucks when i got it. and as for the weight if that concerns you it feels very light i woudlnt say like a feather but it isnt heavy by any means
