Rolling rack is a must have for home gym.
This thing is overbuilt in the best way. As soon as I pulled the first piece out of the box, I knew I made the right decision. I was concerned about stability, but this thing is solid as a rock. I was concerned about the plastic Olympic sleeves pulling off with the plates, but there is a set screw for each sleeve and little chance it will ever pull off unintentionally. It rolls smooth, and can hold a bunch of plates. Only thing left to desire, is a brake for the wheels. This is perfect for a small home gym as you can simply move your whole weight stack out of the way when not in use.

It's really heavy duty, nicely painted, and makes fetching and storing weight plates a breeze.
It's really heavy duty, nicely painted, and makes fetching and storing weight plates a breeze. You can store 1" or 2" weight plates by using or not using the 2" heavy duty plastic weight plate sleeve adaptors. There are 6 of them. The 6 weight plate arms are ideal as the set of colored Olympic 2" weight plates I'm going to accumulate come in 6 weights. I'll be getting 2 weight plates each of 10 lbs, 15 lbs, 25 lbs, 35 lbs, 45 lbs, and 55 lbs, so one set of 2 plates at each weight for each arm on the storage rack. Two minor complaints: The washers labeled #17 had a bit of surface rust but since they are zinc coated, I'm not sure where the rust came from. And they accidentally gave me a #17 washer instead of the needed #16 washer, so I was short one #16 washer. I just did that nut & bolt without a washer rather than head out to the hardware store for one washer+.I will help you learn from a mistake I made. I tightened all the nuts & bolts up at the very top of the rack BEFORE I but my 45 lbs Olympic barbell in the barbell holder sleeve so I had to use force getting it in and out to put it up and take it out. I used leverage to force it into alignment to make that easier, but you'd do better to tighten up the top nuts & bolts on the weight plate rack LAST with the 45 lbs Olympic barbell put away in the barbell holder so you can line it up just right for yourself. Otherwise, it was very easy to put together, it took about an hour. I'm thankful I don't need to buy no more weightlifting equipment until next fall when I add the 3 heavier sets of Olympic plates, this equipment adds up.

Marcy rolling olympic plate tree
Pros:Great price, 1/2 the cost of most similar rolling racks.Build quality is decent for the price range. It definitely can carry the recommended load of 300 pounds, I currently have 580 pounds of Rogue Echo bumper plates with no issues. Not sure if it can maintain its structural integrity for years to come, but I’ll update if any part of the supports fail.Cons;Caster wheels are robust, and can handle the 300 pound weight load, but they lack breaks. If you’re on hardwood floors or concrete, it can travel when loading/unloading plates. You can substitute 2 same sized diameter wheels with breaks to solve this issue.Plate tree feels stable, but can have a little wiggle, certainly not as robust as the Rogue rolling rack, but it’s 1/2 the price plus the cost of shipping. FYI If you’re not needing the mobility that the caster wheels afford, don’t install them, it’ll greatly improve both the rigidity and stability.Plastic Olympic support covers that slide over the standard 1” metal support arms. At this price point, it’s not a deal breaker, and the option for 1” or 2” hole plates is part of their design.Overall it’s a good budget rolling plate tree with caveats, I’d recommend it for any home/garage gym.

Must have for a home gym!!
The media could not be loaded. Excellent stand for home gym purposes. Holds everything I need it to for easy access. Assembly took a out 5 minutes with a socket set. Great addition and very durable

Very strong, well made, versatile
I purchased this rack from an obviously well known comany in this field because I rightfully thought it will be well made. The metal used was robust. The paint finish is quality. The casters are very heavy duty and facilitates movement of the loaded rack in a relatively easy manner. A positive feature not found in some other weight racks is that you can store both 1" and 2" plates by simply removing the plastic sleeves to expose the smaller diameter metal rods. The rack was very well packaged, no damage or missing parts' and the instructions were clear. Two Allen wrenches were supplied. You do need a pair of adjustable wrenches or metric fixed sized wrenches. A metric socket set would significantly speed the assembly. The rack was a good value for the price point. I hope this review was helpful.

Garage gym must have
The build quality is great for under $100. It was easy to assemble. I love having the wheels on it because I can easily move it around the garage to get it out of my way or move it closer to the equipment I’m using. As far as the maximum weight I definitely had more than the recommended 300 pounds and it was just fine. Just make sure to balance the weight. Because it’s vertical it does help save space which is super important to me in my home gym with limited space.
