For the price, this is a great watch. It’s not a high end watch and the materials feel cheap BUT if you want a $300 watch, you gotta pay $300. So... for the price, this is a wonderful watch. If this watch costed $200 I’d give it 1 star. But since this was $30 and I had low expectations and they far exceeded that I expected. 5 out of 5. Very impressive for the cost.It looks great. Feels good. The clasp on the chain is flimsy. Other than that, looks good! Most of my past pocket watches had the same clasp.And let’s be real... no one uses pocket watches to keep time. It’s for style. I have no idea if it keeps time accurately. I doubt it since the centrifugal governor will slow down when it’s not wound up in the “prime range”. It’s best to reset the time daily or check it from time to time. This was a common practice when these types of watches were the regular way to tell time. Mechanical watches don’t keep time well as walking and moving can cause minor deviations and “stall” the gear work. This is an inherent fault and great lengths are taken to reduce this which is why high end watches are mechanically superior and also extremely expensive. I don’t think this watch is sealed so do not get sand or water near it. Sand is notorious for sneaking into gears of watches. This watch seems difficult to repair. The biggest bonus of this watch is the low cost. Plus it looks AMAZING

It looks fantastic. I love the mechanical winding as opposed to a battery. You can see the time without flipping open the watch. I also bought a golf vest to complement the watch and they both look terrific. I've gotten a lot of really good compliments on both.

Nice watch but it doesn't open in the back nor stand on the table as stated in the description. If that doesn't put you off it is a lovely item. Fun.

Quality craftsmanship

The first one would not run but so far the second on runs perfectly. It was a birthday gift and the replacement was delivered in less than 12 hours.

I always wanted a pocket watch. My Dad ordered me this pocket watch. It looked cool but it had a lot of durability issues. I went to my auntie Brooke’s house. My uncle Stan showed me his old pocket watch. When I showed him my pocket watch I saw a crack in the glass in the back of the pocket watch. I put it in my pocket and went home. When I took it out of my pocket in the house the whole circle of glass came off. I got mad so then it put in the case , and now the pocket watch is sitting on my dest collecting dust.
