This is the second one of these I've bought. The first was used for a medley of tasks including drilling some 100+ bores through 4*2 (clean work), and then less clean fixings in gritty wood outside. Despite hitting several screws the original is still going strong, and I've purchased another for harder woods and engineered wood products.

Absolutely looked the part, so I was very pleased when it arrived. However, it simply didn't work. It barely penetrated the wood, and, when it did so, the wood splintered terribly. I returned the item, but I had to pay for return postage myself, so the amount I received for my refund was less than half of what I paid for the bit itself.

Nice and sharp and cut well even in a small battery operated drill

Disappointed to find there is only 1 cutting edge!With such a large size drill I would have expected 2 cutting edges.
