I'm so pleased with these window sash vent stops. The tenants removed the old ones when they left the apartment. Go figure!These stoppers were exactly what I wanted. They were easy to install, fit perfectly and work well.

This fit perfectly in my window frame and stops the window perfectly.

I had a contractor redo the floors in my house so, naturally, they managed to break almost all of the sash stops in the house. Good times.These stops are solid, probably manufactured using a 3d printer-type process. I have no problems with that at all -- better them than me.They can be a little tricky to install. If you find yourself tempted to get a mallet to make 'em go, you're doing it wrong. Whatever seems like the right way to do it is the exact wrong way. Once you figure the trick out, they're painless to install.My biggest challenge with them is that there's no raised lip exposed when they're in the "allow the window to open all the way" position. So, I wind up trying to jam a fingernail under the end to pry it out. Maybe it's just me, but I find the sensation of prying them up with my fingernails to be unpleasant.All of that said, they fit perfectly, they're sturdy, and, again, they fit perfectly. (evidently my windows' stops are a less-common size). I would buy them again.

We have Anderson double hung windows that are 30 (or more?) years old. The window sash stoppers had somehow come out of the windows on the first floor long ago, so you couldn't leave them open at all when out of the house. I ordered one set of these, not knowing whether they would actually work or not, but they worked perfectly in my windows. We didn't have to file them down at all. Tip: insert the bottom first, then snap in the top. I will likely buy two more sets to have them handy in the future.

The windows that are home are probably about 20 + years old. The vent stops that came with them are thin, cheap, and brittle... Maybe UV weakened them but you can see they were cheap to start.The replacements seem to be made of a bolder more flexible material and will hopefully hold up. There were easy to install and work well. Compared to the original they are a touch of white, but my windows may have faded. Can't really tell and either way it's far better than a hole where the old ones were. Wish they were a bit cheaper but that's not much an issue.

This is really badly designed. The bottom tip bends and breaks way too easily.

Replacement for broken clips that were missing. Good OEM replacement part for windows with child locks.

Not a perfect fit but very close. The sash stop needed a very slight trim with razor or sandpaper to open fully, for my windows, Also color is off a bit more egg shell than truer white.
