Not thick enough for pasta
My vac master vacuum sealer pulls an insane vacuum and rips elbow noodles right through this bag like nothing so I had to keep stopping it and that got annoying. It also would seal and then leaks would pop up the next morning the bag would be back to normal size. Stay with the 5mill minimum if you have a serious vacuum sealer. Great idea though we need textured 5mill bags!

Good product!
I have used these for hurricane preparation. I have over 50 items stored in them from, rice, beans, coffee, beef jerky, dried nonfat milk, salt, spices, etc. they have all held their vacuum, but one bag of rice.Good size bags, good seal, good product

Will not vacuum seal.
These bags are only textured on one side on the inside of the bag so the air cannot be pulled out by a vacuum sealer. They are so cheap and poorly made, no matter how hard you try you cannot get the wrinkles out so they will heat seal. Passed the return period when I tried to use them so I ended up throwing them in the trash. Don’t waste your money on theses. Stick with Steel Sak.

Perfect for long-term storage
Very easy to use. I give it an extra seal with a heated hair straightener. Buying more today!

High failure rate
Compared to the SteelPak bags, these had a very high failure rate. It wasn't just that the seals failed, even after multiple cycles (with PrimalTek 12" Commercial Grade Vacuum Sealer), these bags were very (and oddly) susceptible to puncture by anything even a little sharp, like grains and seeds. The only thing they worked well on were beans - very smooth. This was surprising, because the bag is thicker and seems stronger than the SteelPaks. At the seal, there's something about the two different textures that doesn't work, tends to wrinkle even when taking great care to keep everything straight and smooth, and therefore leak. The SteelPak bags have the waffle texture on both sides and seal really well on only one cycle, one seal.Seems true for all these bags, but it's really important to handle them very carefully after sealing, and these were the worst. A drop or friction with other bags while crating them will cause a puncture. The other frustrating thing with these was that the failure was not immediately obvious, often taking overnight to be visible (bag re-airing). And often the point of failure was not visible, maybe a pin-hole, so it wasn't worth cutting the top off and trying again (as one can if it's clear the failure is at the seal).Disappointing. Only buying the SteelPak now.

Not enough texture to allow proper seal- NOT for Long term Storage
Not enough texture to allow proper seal. Even tried the trick of using part of a textured plastic bag at top to allow for proper air withdrawal. No luck. Completely worthless for Long term Storage.
