It does what it suppose to!
Pros: Eventually works and drivers installed. On startup and with Windows Hello setup it will read your finger that you setup.Cons: Takes up one USB slot and jets out a little. Does not invest my money in stocks for me.Other Thoughts:Why this is not standard on all laptops, and why I can buy a cheap Chinese branded laptop at Walmart with one built in is apparently an enigma now.

Simple and effective
It enabled you to make your older desktop (or even laptop) have the security of locking your computer and even better unlocking it easily without remembering another password! Great price and works right out of the package.

A piece of junk
Doesn't work 80% of the time, you gotta enter the pin to unlock very frequently. It works like 1 out of 5 tries, very annoying, avoid at all cost !!!!

Plug to one of the front USB, Win10 1909 doesn't recognize the device with correct driver at first attempt.Installed driver: G-Search SEKC SFSD-01, the second result with Japanese language is the official driver website (apparently link not allowed). Chrome browser can translate it for you. That webpage has English manual and driver. The driver is zipped with RAR, so you would need 7-zip to unzip it.After the driver install, I also swap it to the other front panel USB. It worked flawlessly with Windows Hello.The unlock is faster than my DELL XPS13 finger print reader.

Nice product
Works really good. But there are still ways to get around it. Still need to create a PIN, and that can be used.

It works well
When I first plugged this unit in one of the 2 USB port at the top of my tower PC runing win 11, it was immediately recognized and the proper drivers were automatically installed. However, it did not work!I looked in Device Manager and it showed drivers installed and up to date but there was an exclamation mark and a "failed to run error".At first I thought I had a bad unit. However, I tried to plug it in one of my HUB USB ports and... it worked perfectly there immediately!So, if it does not work in one port, try another one... it may solve your problem.It works well in Hello in Windows. Happy with the purchase.

Mi lap gamer no traía lector de huella y la de mi trabajo sí, me acostumbré a desbloquear mi lap con mi huella y pues este es igual de responsivo que la que trae mi otra laptop. Responde a la primera, identifica siempre al primer intento mi huella. Me gustó mucho

Plug and play
Worked really well, I plugged it in and windows detected it then I went to settings and set up windows hello finger print with no issues and it worked repeatedly with 100% accuracy.
