Clearblue Connected Ovulation Test System, 25-Count

I find this product very reliable (the hardest thing I find is remembering to use the test in the morning!). The one issue that is slightly annoying is that if you have a variable cycle length you are advised to use the shortest length, this us fine but then it means you may get a message saying to stop testing before high fertility has been shown. I usually ignore this now and continue testing for a few more sticks and have always had a high fertility. The good thing about the testing system is it allows you to learn your cycle so you can know when to ignore these messages.Some of the negative comments on here are clearly from people who cannot read the instructions. You are clearly told that once high fertility is detected you will continue to see this symbol until peak fertility is detected or your next cycle (so yes, if high fertility is detected then getting your husband to per on it ir sticking it in tap water will still give you a high fertility result)The app itself is also pretty easy to use and, again allows you to learn your cycles as you can compare the last 6 cycles and also look back further using the calendar function. My biggest bug bear with this system is that you cannot just buy test refils. It is so wasteful as the main unit clearly lasts longer than the 25 testing sticks you get.

I reviewed this product before buying both positive and negatives. I decided to give it a go. After using this product it annoys me that some of the negative reviews are clearly from people who haven’t read the instructions properly. You get one handle and 25 test sticks that insert into it!I found it very easy to set up the Bluetooth and with the app which made it easy to work. The first time you use one of the sticks with the handle you will ALWAYS get a circle as it has nothing to go off of for your hormones. The app will tell you what CD to take your first test.I took my first test at CD 7 and got the circle as expected. CD 8-14 I got the flashing smiley face in which we BD everyday. CD 15-16 was the static smiley face as my peak in which we also BD.Once you get your static smiley it will be on the screen for 2 days and you won’t be able to use another stick during this time!!The app helped us a lot to let us know when we should BD. The smiley faces are nicer than trying to read if a line is as dark or darker like your typical OPK’s.12 DPO and just found out I’m pregnant. First month using this product along side using Conceive Plus. I truly believe this product is the reason I am now pregnant. There is none of this trying to figure out if something is positive or negative it tells you straight with a circle, flashing smiley or static smiley. Use the APP along side it to get the best results!

We had been trying to get pregnant using a temperature-based app (Natural Cycle) which can only ‘predict’ your ovulation date, and then retrospectively ‘confirms’ it only after a few days. This method is not very precise because you can only plan to hit your fertile window based on ‘predictions’.I then purchased Boots ovulation tests which never showed any positive result for me. I started feeling very anxious about the possibility of not ovulating whatsoever!Then I came across Clearblue Connected, and the reviews were so positive I decided to give it a go. It’s not cheap and it needs a few minutes of reading the instructions and setting it up with your phone. But it was so worth it for the reassurance and the results!First month, it effectively found my high and peak fertility (LH surge) which was reassuring following my experience with Boots tests.Second month again it found my fertile window very easily and to our surprise we got pregnant.I only used 10 of the test sticks in total, but the 25 tests in the pack should last you 3 to 5 months if you use them correctly. I know each body is different and this is just my experience but I give a lot of credit to the accuracy of this technique/product for getting pregnant relatively easily.

I was wary about spending so much on this but it was well worth it due to the ease of use and readability. The Clear Blue tracking app made keeping track of dates and ovulation windows easy and made it very clear when to test and when ovulation was occurring. My only critique is that once you use all of the testing strips you have to buy a whole new pack with a new transmitter stick instead of being able to just buy additional tester sticks. Not very environmentally friendly and I don't want to have to buy a large number of the testing sticks again if I don't have to.

Although the first kit didn’t work properly, I quickly received a replacement and got pregnant within the first month of using. I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant. I actually ovulated a lot later than I thought.Normally, I wouldn’t write a review but I remember frantically rooting through reviews to see how well it worked so here we are.

Word of advice, check well before you ovulate that it connects! I got this on a Saturday and tried to connect to the app but the holder was broken the book picture stayed on all day and no other pictures came on. Couldn’t ring them until Tuesday as it was a Monday bank holiday, spoke to a really kind helpful lady who needed details off the packaging and holder. So do not throw anything away!! A new box arrived free of charge (no need to return the broken holder or test sticks) the next Saturday just in time as I’d been predicted to ovulate that coming Monday but did the test Saturday and I was on peak fertility! It’s really simple to use just ensure Bluetooth is on if your data doesn’t go through reinsert the wake up stick to kick start Bluetooth. It’s really straight forward. Fingers crossed it’s worked 3 years trying and a hell of a lot spent on these things!! Good luck to al you ladies trying ☺️🙋🏻‍♀️xxx
