Not the most powerful motor. Jams easily with less than 6-sheets. Hold off and buy one with a stronger motor. Not thrilled with the short run time, as with similar models

Thus far seems to be a work horse. It is much quieter than my old one.

Excellent shredding of paper but takes so interminably long for each shred to complete that it is NOT a good choice for shredding a lot of paper at one time. It is noisy but tolerable and it is heavy but has handles to move it safely. These are top-heavy so one must be aware of tipping over.

The shredder is fairly quiet. I bought this to use with a higher end HSM auto-feed shredder. I wanted to use this on envelopes and misc non standard sheet shredding needs such as junk mail. It works OK but I've had to unjam it several times already. Even on one sheet it sounds like it is struggling - wouldn't even attempt 10 sheets. I think the issue is very narrow (think sheet metal) cutters. Other units have fatter cutters maybe 1/16 or thicker that shouldn't jam as much. Good quiet unit for shredding clean regular sheets/documents - I do not recommend for junk mail.

Found this item is effective and flexible for all my shredding needs.

Very quiet. Replaced my other one that was great. This is far better then I thought. Price was great.

This machine is really quiet. I really like that it has the over heat function. Really wish I would have gotten the side cut one.

Responds to the needs of a small office. It is compact, silent and versatile. The only flaw is the internal basket for cards. Every time it is empty I have to retrieve it from the middle of the papers.
