Pike Trail Waterproof Adjustable Leg Gaiters: for Hiking in Mud, Sand, and Snow - Hunting, Mountain Climbing, or Snowshoeing

These leg gators are very lightweight, easy on and off, and durable. No hassle as with the heavier gators in trying to adjust the straps and clips, plus the added hassle of trying to keep them in place since there is no under heel strap. We have both kind and we prefer these. Peace of mind while clearing our property.

These boot gaiters work pretty well thus far. I've trudged hours through snow and mud while hiking/shed hunting and they've kept my jeans and the upper canvas portion of my boots clean and dry. No sign of damage to under strap and they have a snug fit with no slipping down the calf. Worth a shot for the money and I'm pretty pleased with them.

I used these gators daily for a week in dry, wet and snowy (6-12”) weather. The Good: They worked aa intended and they always kept my lower pants dry. They fit well and had room for size adjustment. The heel straps, velcro, upper tension straps and buttons all held up well with no issues. One thing I noticed is that my buddy has well known name brand hunting gators and the snow sort of stuck to them where it did not on these. Sagebrush burs did not stick to this fabric. The not so good: In dry brush or rubbing up against each other, this fabric is not very quiet. If your intent is to be stealthy, I’d go with another brand/fabric. The tension straps at the top need to be tucked inside the gators as they tend to get hung up when climbing over tree deadfall. Overall, they worked pretty good and were worth the price.

Easy to put on and adjust. No water gets through. Lightweight and well made. Not noisey.

With the thought in mind that gators are not traditional golf ware and never sold among the $100+ golf shirts, pants, jackets, rain gear, shoes, etc…these gators are the perfect solution to play rain saturated fairways on clear “cart path only” days when full rain suits are not required.They are fashionably clean, constructed for durability, highly functional, easy to put on and take off.These gators have raised the eyes of everyone that sees them and leading them to complement and recognize the value in keeping mud off your pants during a round.Not only recommended but should be required.

First impressions: very good. Nice little bag to store them. Fabric feels heavy duty & tough. Strong Velcro, lots of snaps and ways to adjust size and fit.As I put them on, it became apparent that the bottom strap is too far back. Instead of being more in the arch of your foot, it is sewed toward the heel. If you are using trail runners rather than boots, this may be an issue as it has nowhere to sit, and feels awkward. I really had to pull the strap forward for the picture i took. I may even end up cutting off the strap since several of my other pairs of gaiters don’t even have them.The only other issue I have is the fit, but that is more my body type than anything I think. I’m 5’6 and a very athletic build. Even cinched up tight and on the smallest setting, I have about an inch of extra material making these quite baggy on me.They are also not as tall as I expected, which I’m happy about. I mostly just want to use them to keep mud off my pants for winter backpacking.

I have bulky calves and these fit fine with velcro and a little tie to keep them up at your knees. They'll keep your ankles dry in brushy fields and protect you from scratchy seeds and burs.

These are the best for desert terrain. After days of open field coursing in the high desert, which is filed with cactus and mesquite and risk of snakebite - I’m impressed. These were impenetrable to the desert elements. The Velcro fastener is wide and secure, the strap under the shoe is secure and tucks nicely unto the keepers, the coverage of the top of shoe and leg is excellent. Interestingly, I also received compliments on them which was unexpected given the utilitarian purpose. These are definitely keepers and will accompany me on all future desert hikes or adventures.

Buen material. Resistente. La correa de lz suela del zapato funciona bien y creo que no se romperá fácilmente. La velcro tiene bien agarre.

Beim anziehen ist aufgefallen dass es zwei gleiche sind, die Schnalle sowie der Klettverschluss zeigen in die gleiche Richtung, was sehr blöd aussieht. Nun brauche ich eine rechte Gamasche und hoffe der Verkäufer liest es und hilft mir. Danke
