Rack with a purpose!
Pros this rack is really easy to install! It will honestly take you 30 minutes at max, if you know what you're doing. With that being said there was two blemish it's minor but to those truck enthusiasts who want to make sure that everything is 100% set you'll bump into two issues. Keep in mind I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, full cab TRD Off Road. First minor blemish, one of the final screws, if following step by step, will not go in the whole because the mold. It CAN be FIXED if you make the hole a little bigger by sanding it with a pick. I will include a photo. Second minor issue, once your done, is the rack won't look like it's on all the way. Check photo. In the photo you will notice the pencil, it's just a size reference, to seeing how the gap is on the rack. If the photo doesn't look that good, the size of the gap is half the size of the pencil's width.Other than those two minor issues I think the rack is great! I will definitely be adding a cargo basket once I recover from this purchase. So if you want to give it a shot don't be shy or don't hesitate. I don't regret it one bit.And for those who are wondering why I gave it a four out of five, it's because of those two minor issues other than that no other issues found what-so-ever. #Satisfiedcustomer

Awful!!
Completely, awful don't waste your money! Here's why:1. Right mounting bracket was missing a hole, had to make my own.2. Everything torqued to specs per the instructions, but now there's lots of gaps. May have warped in the sun.3. VERY flimsy, there's no way this thing will support dynamic load of 100 lbs.!4. If you own a 2020 Tacoma built before mid February 2020, this rack WILL NOT FIT (neither will OEM), it hits the shark fin antenna (search the Tacoma World forum, whish I had). Apparently the antenna was moved, and has now been moved back to the location used on prior years.Shame on me, I thought I'd save a few bucks with this, lesson learned the hard way. Hopefully, I can save other buyers some heartburn. There's a Prinsu Designs or Martin Offroad rack in my Taco's near future. Boxing this crap up to ship it back isn't even worth my time, it's garbage.

Good product for the price, and easy install
Bought this not to save money over OEM, but because this was rated to 190lds (almost 2x OEM). After seeing it through, I don’t think it’s physically stronger than OEM, just a more liberal rating. Body is plastic (metal bushings in the plastic body at connection points) so I’d prefer more metal in the construction. That said, it is $100 less than OEM, looks great, and installed pretty easily, so I’m happy. Follow instructions and be careful to visually line up holes and finger-start bolts to avoid crossthreading. Took me 2 hours because I’m slow and careful.

Looks great once installed, quality is so-so
Let me start by saying that in the end this looks great once installed. Installation was a headache as the holes on the rack relative to those on my Tacoma didn’t match up well. They were all off by about 1/2 inch. Not sure if it was the build of the rack or Toyota was off when they manufactured the truck. Overall I was able to make it work with some modifications. I would rate look once installed five stars, and the quality of the rack when made one star, thus the blended three. Might be worth spending a few extra bucks to get the rack from Toyota.

Really good...if you know these tips.
A few negatives......slight gaps in front (not sure if this will affect water leaking in), a little blemish on the outside (probably fix with paint), factory caulk came completely out when I unpacked (TIP #1 - I fill with fresh silicone). As for the install, it really wasn't bad. Took me 2 hours because I was slow as to not strip the screws. The directions were good except they only describe 2 sizes of screws (short and long) when there are 3 sizes. TIP #2 - use the shortest screws last (the ones that attach to the metal bracket in front). As for the holes not lineing up......I started with the 3 long ones barely threading the middle 1st, then the 2 in back. TIP #3 - Now the key for the front 2 holes is right in the directions. It says to use an All for the front screws. I used a small screwdriver in the hole to line up mount hole with screw hole, threaded the screw, and then took out screw driver and threaded 2nd hole. Then I tightend down all the screws. As for the back crossbar not lineing up with the socket when in the cross position....TIP #4 - the passenger side rail has 2 sockets in the back for crossbar to lock into.. When crossbars are in the closed position (in line with rails), the crossbar uses the socket closest to back window. When crossbars are in the open position (going across the roof), the crossbar uses the socket further away from the back window. It's not exact (you have to give it a good whack with your hand to get it to drop down inside), but definitely not a deal breaker. If you try the back socket...it will be like an inch to long. Don't try to force it in the wrong hole. All and all I really like the look And seems very sturdy. There was no difference in sound while open or closed. I can confirm this fit on my 2015 tacoma double cab. There was no altering, cutting, drilling, or reaming needed of any kind. Just take your time and follow my tips.

Considering...
I bought this product two weeks ago, quality of the components are not exceptional but good for the price, about assembling could be a nightmare if you don't have skills or some experience, the metal bases brings holes quite a bit sided so you need molding a little bit to make it fitt. In my case the back cross bar needed 1/4 inch off to fitt. Tacoma 2018
