Shinko 244 Series Rear/Front Tire - 5.10-17

Got these on the front and back. Still feels good getting over in the turns and does ok in the dirt. On the gnarly trails after a fresh rain not so well compared real knobbies but acceptable in everything besides deep mud. Went through my rear pretty fast, like 2k miles but I ride pretty hard and do stupid things (burnouts, clutch ups, stoppies, skidding to a stop at every red light etc). Imagine you could easily get 5k out of these if your a saint.

This is my third rear 244 on my DR650. Mileage is 2000 +. I was very supersized that I am liking these as much as my normal go to Dunlop D606 tire. My use is 80% off road riding hard. No nobs have separated or broken off. I do see miner cracks at the base of nobs but they do not progress so I don't have any concerns. I will try the 244 on my front tire next.

Myself and 10 other friends ride Drz SM's. Only a handful of us use our bikes off road. These puppies get the job done on and off road. Provide excellent confidence when off road. On road performance is just as good if not better than the stock dunlops that come on the bike. I will bu these again once they wear out. I've had them for about 6 weeks and the tread seems hardly worn. I expect to get a few more months out of them at least

Awesome 50/50 tire!I ride my DR650 to work in the summer time and ride some aggressive trails on the weekends, this tire fits perfectly for both!

Was my second choice but the best one. Bought adventure tires first but the Arizona dessert would have been too much. Very happy I used these. Good on the road as well.

So far so good. I've got about 1K miles on them. Had them in gravel and hard dirt, no mud or sand yet. No bad tendencies, ride great on the road. They are starting to sing on the highway.

Not the best mud tire but more than adequate everywhere else. Hard to beat the price to performance ratio

Big improvement off road over stock dr650 tire. Does not corner on payment as well As a more street oriented tire but that's was expected.
