Formuler Z8 4K UHD Android OTT TV Box, Black

If you have quality internet speed and a good provider then go for a formuler z8 if you want to dip your toes in the IPTV & android box world. I've tried a few different devices for my smart TV namely a firestick and another cheap android box. I can tell right now that the Formuler z8 beats them by a fair distance (even at the price listed above). I've highlighted the main aspects of the device below: Mytvonline 2 - If you want a little background on the device, the mytvonline 2 is the most important feature of the device for me. The people who have created the Formuler z8 for an IPTV experience are constantly creating updates to both the application and the device itself for the best possible IPTV experience. The mytvonline 2 app cant be downloaded or accessed from any other device and is exclusive to formuler devices as it is their unique selling point so to speak. The app provides the greatest IPTV experience I have seen to date just add your IPTV service provider portal url and your good to go. The video quality and EPG Tv guide is great as well as the TV recording feature which did take a while to get the hang of. Apps - The z8 comes with both a shortcut to the google playstore and most importantly the market app which has popular apps needed for the z8 like downloader, filelinked, internet speed test etc. You will be able to add your favourite apks like cinema hd (the best with the real debrid feature), cyberflix etc quickly and easily. The one real draw back I found is that while netflix and amazon prime work they are in lower quality like 480p. I work around this by using the cinema hd or cyber flix apk. The remote control - Like any other devices, it will take a while to get use to. The remote that comes with the device is an RCU device which I was able to add the power on/off button to along with the aspect ratio which is all the buttons i really need. The great thing about the z8 remote is you can add hot keys to it within the app itself. It will give you the option of adding program shortcuts like I have a youtube shortcut on the red button which works great. I have used this for over a year, I have watched a range of pay per view events, sporting events, and a host of different series and movies. The price tag listed above and a 10 usd a month IPTV service has definitely been worth it.

This box is tiny and I mean really tiny. The power is enormous. It accepts loads of apps such as Netlix, plex, VPN etc. In fact most streaming type apps that a phone will take. Some of the apps downloadable from PlayStore don't work such as PUREVPN but a quick email to Pure and a special app was sent to me and works perfectly. The software is updated regularly although it always comes with a warning that it's up to you and if it doesn't work it cant be rolled back. Mine has always worked perfectly. I don't use it for IPTV at present as its summer but I will again when the winter is upon us. Setting up for IPTV is very easy using the TV app MyTV Online. The IPTV provider provides a very long access code to install and that's it. It just works. The picture quality is excellent. sometimes the picture can break up but that is nothing to do with the box. IPTV signals can be a little bit poor sometimes.

I've been a bit frustrated with various devices that play iptv. It's always a bit clunky with a terrible user menu or lack of epg. This little box is superb for it. The main reason I bought it though is the capacity to record. It was a little hit and miss at first but once you've followed the formuler tutorial on how to format the USB stick it works flawlessly. I bought myself a tiny 128gb sandisk ultra fit one that you can hardly see sticking out. If you have a decent fibre broadband connection you will not need to connect the ethernet cable. I was pulling near the full 200mb just using the wifi on the Z8. It plays 4k files with no buffering whatsoever. The mytvonline 2 app that facilitates the iptv subscriptions works superbly. It really is the best way to view iptv. Just put your portal url in the connection settings and it will populate channels and epg in seconds. Superb little box.

If you have heard from people these are good, they are right. Install any app from the google play store and other apps. You can record what you watch to USB. Picture quality is as good as what you are watching. 4k and UHD feeds look great. Its a fast box and well worth the money.

After the service provider is contacted, a plan is signed up for, and the box number is given to them, the provider will then send a code which has to enter into your system. Entering the code can be a little tedious as it is very long. I would recommend that you trial the provider before committing to a plan. The Formuler Z8 gives good crystal-clear visuals. There is good online support and there is limited built-in recording capabilities, however with the addition of a USB stick your storage can be huge. You can customize your channel line-up/selection, record live TV, and even schedule recordings for later viewing. However, it's worth noting that while the Formuler Z8 offers an impressive array of features, its price point may be a deterrent for some buyers. If you're on a tight budget, you may want to consider more affordable alternatives. I would recommend this product.

I've been using Android Boxes and Nvidia Shields to run IPTV via Kodi for years. I've never seen or heard of this MyTVOnline thing. All I can say is WOW. Completely different experience. You need some technical skills to set up IPTV using this method, but once up and running the experience is way greater than via Kodi. The Formuler box itself is compact, silent and easy to set up. Very impressed. I actually prefer it to my Nvidia Shield as it has the full, proper Google Play rather than a cut down version.

Fantastic little box. Bought this for IPTV after doing a little homework. Obvious first impression is that it's more pricy than other models, you can get a box for a quarter of the cost and a decent box for around ¾. Whether this is worth it depends on the person, to me it is for the quality software, good support and full remote control. Setup is quick and easy, should be up and running in 5 minutes. The main feature of course is the mytvonline app which after trying several others is easily the best out there. The EPG is fast and responsive, features like picture-in-picture and recording are all there. Anyone used to using a Sky / Virgin box will have no trouble figuring it out and feel at home. There are some drawbacks of course. It's on the higher end of the price scale, Netflix is unsupported and unlikely to install and there isn't much of a manual included. Having said that anyone with even a bit of technical skill will have no trouble and there is a good user forum.

Formuler make a quality product. The built-in IPTV interface is excellent. The box is reliable and operates smoothly. Bought it when it first released and it's now a few generations behind but I see no reason to upgrade any time soon.

Que dire si ce n'est qu'il est parfait ? L'app native MyTVonline2 est une TUERIE ! La meilleure app IPTV et de loin, compatible avec tous les flux, la qualité d'image est là, toutes les fonctions imaginables en terme de TV, clairement LE point fort de Formuler. En ce qui concerne Netflix, la version du Google Playstore n'est certes pas compatible, impossible l'installer par ce biais MAIS elle est disponible sur le store natif du boitier et elle fonctionne très bien (vous pouvez aussi l'installer via un fichier .apk que vous trouverez sur le net ...) L'ensemble de l'environnement est d'une fluidité absolue, Android ça envoi du bois, vous y trouvez tout ce que vous voulez ... RAS ça fait clairement le job. Tout est sobre, intuitif et personnalisable. J'ai connecté un clavier bluetooth et navigué un peu sur Chrome, beaucoup d'onglets j'ai essayé de pousser la bête dans ses retranchements le boîtier n'a pas bronché. Concernant l'esthétique du boitier personnellement je le trouve assez beau (je n'utilise pas le wifi et donc pas l'antenne pas très jolie) et franchement il est minuscule, si vous n'aimez pas ce design moderne vous pouvez sans problème le cacher dans votre meuble ou derrière la TV. La télécommande très (trop ?) complète, fonctionne très bien à l'échelle de mon salon (7/8 mètres du canapé à la TV) sans le récepteur fourni et sans devoir viser le boitier, piles standards AAA. Elle s'appareille très facilement avec une TV récente et si c'est le cas elle devient l'unique télécommande dont vous avez besoin. Seul défaut de celle ci pour moi, elle n'est pas très belle et ergonomique, y'a un truc à faire là dessus mais elle est terriblement fonctionnelle et c'est déja une bonne base. Le port USB 3.0 fait le taff car pas de disque dur, peut être LA feature à rajouter dans un futur Z9 ? Bluetooth et appairage rapide, WiFi 5Ghz, 60 fps, 4k ... Alors ok il est pas donné mais pour avoir eu plusieurs box android allant de 40€, 80€ ... et celle ci bah j'ai jamais été autant satisfait de mon achat et je vois clairement le taff derrière ce boîtier de luxe et le luxe ça se paye ;) Formuler c'est validé, un client heureux.

Ich finde die Box bis jetzt super. Sehr schönes design mit antenne, sehr gut. Die Qualität sieht auch sehr gut aus. Sehr gute bildaufzeichnung. Nachteile sind: Fernbedienung könnte etwas besser sein. Lautstärke und kanalwechseltaste könnte etwas größer sein. Anlernen mit TV bedienung ist viel zu wenig nur ein und aus u nd source wechsel. Lautstärke wird immer mit +7+7+6 oder so geregelt. Sollte lieber +5+5 sein oder 1er stufe. Der Ton ist auch nicht so klar oder laut. Entweder zu laut oder leise.
