Seriously the CUTEST!!!!!! I LOVE IT! Great quality and absolutely adorable! I also love the drawers that house all of the little food! My kids ages one and a half all the way up to nine love it! It was a little tedious to put together -took about an hour and a half! So the review that said 30 to 40 minutes must have been a contractor! But it was well worth it!

My 4 year old son LOVES this hot dog/ice cream cart. He easily rolls it around the house so we can "order" from him. I'm impressed with all the included wooden food. It's very good quality- not your normal cheap plastic stuff.The cart was simple to put together - took me about 1.5 hrs. Tip- hide the included bell. It gets annoying quick.

My two kids, age almost 2 and 6, absolutely love this. It had to stay in our living room for two weeks because that's where I put it together and they played with it so constantly from the moment it was done there wasn't time to move it to the play room. Its easy to switch from Hot Dog Cart to Ice Cream shop. The accessories are great quality and are really cute. They totally remind me of ice cream truck treats from when I was little. The ice cream sandwiches and cookies are all interchangeable. My almost 2 year old is not gentle yet with toys and this has held up to him. Its also been a great math teaching tool for my 6 year old. The sign is a dry erase and let's them decide on the prices for each product. We've done math work with adding up our purchases. It was fairly simple to put together; took about a hour. Everything you need is included.

This cart is really cute. It comes with so much food, it's a great bargain for that reason. I will say though, that for the price, it's really cute but not as good as I hoped. Melissa and Doug have a much higher price point than most brands so I've always thought their products must be truly superior and based on this item, I'd say that's not the case. This cart is a bit flimsy, especially compared to KidKraft items. I've purchased several KidKraft items and they're sturdy as heck but this cart feels like it will break easily.Construction was very easy until I get to three separate steps where the holes were drilled about half an inch too far down. What a pain in the arse when you gotta carefully create a knew screw hole in particle board the night before xmas! Were it not for those misdrilled holes, I'd have put this together in 25 or 30 minutes. It was super easy up until then.I'd say if your kid really wants a food cart, buy this because with all the extra food it comes with it's a great deal. But if your kid is rambunctious or rough with toys, definitely check KidKraft's items first. They'll easily last three times longer.

Soooooo adorable and NICE!! Everything is real wood and is built more like an actual piece of furniture more then a toy! A little tedious to put together but well worth it! Love this so much!

I bought this ice cream and hot dog cart after my daughter played with it at a local toy store and kept bringing it up for months. When Christmas rolled around I bit the bullet. I was a bit concerned just because this is a pricier item, and I wasn't sure if my daughter would maintain the interest she demonstrated at the toy store.It has been 4 months and she and her younger brother still play with this frequently. As with all Melissa and Doug items, it is well made and well thought out. Aside from the little bell to ring, it doesn't have any annoying sounds. It includes quite a lot of pieces, including hotdogs and buns (with toppings and ketchup and mustard bottles), popsicles, soda cans, frozen ice, ice cream sandwiches, and pretzels. Everything fits in the drawers of the cart. My daughter spends time organizing the drawers and then preparing orders for her "customers."The sign on the front of the cart and the awning can be flipped around so you can be in "hot dog cart" OR "ice cream cart" mode, although we usually mix up the two. There are prices listed for the items, so if you have a toy cash register you can also pretend to pay for things.We usually play with this alongside my younger son's Fisher Price Food Truck, and both kids share their food items and get met to taste their various creations. We also mix in other things we have, such as toy plates for our kitchen. Sometimes the stuffed animals and dolls get food for a picnic. It's really been a good toy for both kids and I would buy this again, even though it does take up some extra space in the play room.

My kids LOVE this!! This is seriously one of my 6 and 2 year olds favorite Christmas gift! It is so adorable, high quality, fun for the kids, cute ice cream and snack play pieces inside. I like that the size is just right for little ones meaning its not too big and they can move it around. Plus its in my family room right now and isn't so big that is works in there and I don't mind it being in there. My 2 year old loves the hanging bell and runs over there, rings it, and waits for me to come and order some ice cream from her! I bought a few extra sets of ice cream and treats to go with it and it just makes it that much better! I bought the Sophia's Childrens Wooden Play & Pretend Food Set, Play Popsicle Set! Wood Play Food Ice Cream Bar Set and the Melissa and Doug Frozen Treats Playset. But it isn't necessary to add to it, the items included are great.

Had to redo all holes for screws to either fit, or line up correctly. Really disappointed in Melissa and Doug.

Both boxes the item came in were extremely damaged. And pieces inside were damaged. We are attempting to assemble it and repair the broken pieces. I would like some sort of refund
